So what is your go to site for comparing flights and finding deals. Looking for US sites please. With the Canadian dollar falling faster than the leaves off the trees...I need to find a good deal from LAX to MCO.

Try Google flight search. But I'd include all LA area airports instead of just LAX. Once you enter LAX in the flight search there's a plus sign you can click to add nearby airports. You can also try comparing Southwest, they're not on flight searches.

I like to use Kayak. However 99% of the time fly on Alaska so usually book directly through them.

I concur with Google Flights. Kayak is pretty good BUT sometimes I get frustrated with their lowest priced flights available only through a 3rd party supplier, such as CheapO Air etc... If I can't buy directly with the airline, I won't buy it. I like Matrix Airfare Search, but it is not the most user friendly site out there. Thus, Google Flights is roughly the same thing, but easier to deal with.

You signature says that you'll be heading there in February. Matrix has flights prices anywhere from $197 to $348. Plenty of good deals out there:)

Google Flights - https://www.google.com/flights/
Kayak/Priceline - https://www.kayak.com/
Hipmunk - https://www.hipmunk.com/
Southwest - https://www.southwest.com/ <---Does not share flight info with other sites.
Spirit Air - http://www.spiritair.com/ <---Discount airline, flights as low as $30

Boutique Airlines, with Wifi and other Options (Some good discounts)

JetBlue - http://www.jetblue.com/
Virgin Airlines - https://www.virginamerica.com/

Clever websites that package flights based
on layovers and other options to cut costs...

Skiplagged - https://skiplagged.com/
CleverLayover - http://www.cleverlayover.com/

I use kayak.....I have only been taken to the airline directly through them, not a third party.

Great info - thanks! :thumbsup2

These are the two sites I typically use to find flights; http://matrix.itasoftware.com/ and yapta.com. If you setup a login for yapta, you can save different flights and they will send you an email alert when the price goes down. I typically start watching them as soon as we have a date for our trip so I can get a feel for the prices. Then when the price is right I go to the airlines website to purchase. Some airlines won't be shown in yapta though, such as Southwest.
