For strictly being able to see animals (no other factors like buses, pool, food, etc), what's the best location?

Jambo or Kidani, and which area?

Upper or lower floor?

I can look at pictures on Touring Plans, but a still shot doesn't really tell the whole picture.

I'll bet different people will have different answers. For me, it's Jambo. I was surprised, because when I went over to Kidani, I loved the fact that being on the same floor as the animals, I could hear the "clip-clop" as they walked. But when I stayed there, there were relatively few animals. And even though I was on the Sunset Savannah, which shares with Jambo, I saw none of the giraffes that I saw, on the same savannah, when I stayed at Jambo.

Is an upper floor of lower floor better for setting animals?

I suggest Kidani and lowest floor you can get. Higher the tree block most of the view, also go for the sunset savannah
