Best Running Trail at Resorts?

My husband and I are going to disneyworld next week without the kids!!! While my husband golfs in the morning I enjoy sleeping in then going for a run.....Any suggestions on running trails at resorts??......we are staying at AKL which I hear doesn't have one......we have in the past stayed at WL and OKL and I've run those trails......Any other good ones? Would appreciate any input...........Let me know which you like the best................Thanks......

I enjoy the lap around the lagoon in front of the boardwalk. The smell of the bakery in the morning always makes me smile.

The other route I really enjoy is back and forth between the GF and the poly but it isn't a lap and is shorter but looking at the Wedding Chapel and MK in the distance is still very special.

I love the run between the 2 PO resorts, including that path along the water way. Matter of fact, when I was there a few years ago, just before the marathon, there were runners who'd meet every morning to make that run. They weren't runners who'd come together, just people who'd bumped into each other at the resort and hooked up for running. I thought that camraderie was nice.

We biked the path from FW to WL and loved it! You could run miles and just keep circling FW.

I also love the path along the water between POR and POFQ. I think it is so beautiful and relaxing it helps to keep me going.

If you have no problems running on concrete, there are running trails (basically the sidewalks) at all of the moderate resort and Fort Wilderness. I have had some guests tell me that concrete was not a good surface to run on, that asphalt or dirt paths were better, so if concrete doesn't bother you, you will have no problems finding somewhere to run! My DB, who runs everyday, said the ones at PO-R and PO-FQ were good, because they connect giving him more space and it is a bit shadier, so you won't have the hot sun beating down on you.

crazywig just the kind of thing I was looking for....Thanks......and everyone else thanks for your input.........as much as I love going to Disneyworld with kids am really looking forward to a nice relaxing 4 day trip to the World with hubby without going to Parks..........
