Best route to take to Kennedy Space Center?

I'm hoping someone can advise me.....we will be driving to the KSC on our "off" day from the parks next week, leaving from AKL. I looked at the directions at their web site, but what I'd really like to know is what is the least congested, fastest way to get there?

We made the drive several years ago and took the Beeline. I'm thinking the newer Greenway may be an easier ride and less traffic. Both are toll roads.

528 The Beachline is probably the easiest and quickest way to get there.

I still call it the Bee Line-

Lots of people still call it the Beeline but for people new to the area that would be confusing.

Thanks....sounds like I should take 528. That picture of the Bee Line sign is just too funny! I was planning to allow about an hour for travel time, leaving around 11 after our breakfast at Boma. Does that seem realistic?
