Hi all,
I've mapquested this, but thought I'd ask for advice here as well. Next Friday (later afternoon/early evening) I will be driving from Tampa (I think the hotel is actually in St. Pete's Beach) to YC. Could anyone please suggest the best route to take?

Thanks very much.

Let me just preface this with I have not been over to WDW lately, so if the exit numbers have changed, please forgive me. But the street names should still be the same. :)

If you're coming from St. Pete, take I-275 north to I-4 east. The exit for I-4 is just past downtown Tampa. There is construction going on at this junction and rush hour begins about 4:30 and lasts until about 6:30, and it can get VERY congested especially on Fridays, so if you can avoid it, you may want to plan accordingly. Make sure you are in the right hand lane for the exit. There are 2 lanes for the exit. I recommend being in the left lane of the two to make your travel a bit smoother. The far right lane tends to get congested with people exiting at Ybor. Anyway, take I-4 all the way out to Disney. The speed limit is 55 on I-4 until you cross under I-75. Then the speed limit bumps up to 70. Be careful, because there are frequently speed traps in the 55mph stretch. Also, be careful as you go through Lakeland (just past Plant City) for the same reason.

Take exit#62 (World Drive), and then take the exit for Downtown Disney. At the first traffic signal, turn left onto Epcot Resorts Blvd. YC will be on the right.

Hope that helps!! Have fun!
