Best Route from MCO to WDW during 5pm rush hour traffic?

What is the best way to drive from MCO to WDW (AKL) during rush hour traffic?

Our flight gets in at 4:30pm so I'm assuming we will be hitting the highway around 5:30p......on a FRIDAY

SR 417 to Osceola Parkway. Complete driving directions on Deb's web site including optional grocery stops if needed.

I second those recommendtions. No traffic on 417. No stress in driving to the resort.

I'll third that. South exit out of MCO to 417. Never had a back up going that way.
