Best rooms with 3 sleeping surfaces

Yes I do see now that her dd is younger and will fit in the murphy bed so this does give them another choice for their family, good news!

The fact remains that the murphy bed in the moderates is smaller than those in the DVC studios, as I said in my original statement and the OP isn't the only one reading this thread.

POR and CBR - 30" x 63"
BWV, BC & VWL - 33" x 72"

What about the Murphy bed at the Polynesian?

Thanks everyone! I'm adding CBR and POR to my budget/planning spreadsheet. The room cost vs a couple of the DVC studio rentals is close to the same, the advantage being we might have a shot at free dining with those resorts, which is no chance with the DVC rental. More to think about!

At that age, we started just getting two rooms. We don't get decent sleep with more than 2 people in a hotel room.

Have you considered the Swan or Dolphin? They often run a special for a second connecting room for the kids.

We're a family of 5, and have been perfectly happy in the Deluxe Resorts with a Daybed. If you're thinking summer, look at the Beach Club/ Yacht Club options with Stormalong Bay.

My 20 year old Fireman son is comfortable in the Daybed.

The DVC member website says 29"x67" on the murphy beds. Maybe the difference is between the mattress and the frame.

We are a family of 3. Myself, my grown daughter and pre-teen grandson. We all appreciate our own bed. Our last stay together was in Art of Animation Lion King Suite. I had the bedroom with the king bed to myself with a private bathroom. My daughter had the pull out sofa(full size) and my grandson the pull down bed(full size). No complaints on comfort. Bonus was the second full bath and small kitchen area.
