Hello,
We are planning a trip to Disney World for the first week in June and have booked four nights at CBR and four nights at AKL with a Savanna view. I was just wondering if anyone has ideas for which rooms, floors, and buildings we should request that would be best for our twin daughters aged 4 turning 5 at Disney!
The kids both love pools and water/beaches in general, so I thought the CBR would be a good way to start off. I have heard the Jamaica section is nice, but how is it for young kids? I guess my concerns are more about proximity to the kids areas / food courts than anything else at this point. I do not want to have to walk 15 minutes to the places we will probably frequent the most. Looking at the map the Jamaica section looks like it may be a bit of a walk. Any thoughts or ideas on this would be helpful.
We are going to take in view that the Animal Kingdom Lodge offers for the second four nights, as I have read so many good things about it. I would also appreciate any comments to the best areas to request for this resort keeping the kids entertainment in mind. My wife and I have been to Disney 3 times before, although this is our first on-site stay, so we are most concerned about making sure the kids enjoy the stay. We will not be that interested in areas that offer adult nightlife, as much as somewhere where we would be close to food courts, and the kids area.
Any help or suggestions from past visitors to these resorts would be most welcome.
Thanks.
