Family of 2 adults and 2 teens are headed to WDW in September. Staying at the Wilderness Lodge and have a woods view. What is the best room numbers or areas of the hotel to request? Also, would it be in our best interest to request a bunk bed room because we have 1 boy and 1 girl? Both are over 5'6" tall.

Thanks for any info you can provide.

We had a bunk room with a son and daughter and it worked out well. I think 5'6" would be ok.

We requested "North Wing, Upper-level room, over Otter Pond" and got an upper level room on that side, but over the Lobby instead of the pond. We still got to see some of the fireworks, and that's what we really wanted.

Please note that bunk beds are a bookable category and cost extra versus a request. My kids loved the bunk beds! :thumbsup2

Bunk beds are a bookable category unless you are staying CL, at which time would be a request.
