ps think this was mentioned before in the thread but Spaceship Earth Rome burning is really the Library of Alexandria burning. The Library was founded by Macedonian General Ptolemy (one of Alexander the Great's Generals) and while the Library is long gone, Alexandria is still a major port city in North Egypt. The scene is often called Rome burning (but it ain't ) Not to be a complete fuss-pot but poor old Alexandria. And @Tonyz this match up was prob the most interesting and my fav of all your incredible efforts! Well done, sir.

yeah i think i was the first one to say i like that scene and i did say it was the library at alexandria so when it popped up in round one as rome burning i was a little like... what???

just another sign of the education aspect of EPCOT being lost

I think since it was burned by the siege of the city by Julius Caeser people maybe mix it up but you are obviously 100% correct

Tough choices. And it's a little hard because I haven't been on Splash Mountain for years. I voted for it anyway. I've only done Mine Train a couple of times so I haven't developed the appreciation for it yet.

Does accuracy really matter? I mean, it's just history, nobody cares.
