In most cases, those who have verandah rooms on the side of the ship where the fireworks are seen receive a letter asking them NOT to be on the verandah for the fireworks.

We had a nice fireworks view from an aft extended verandah cabin on the Dream a few months ago. No warning like the one noted above.

Can I ask which room you were in? We are in an aft extended on deck 9 in May and I'm wondering if we will be able to see them from the room or not.

On the fantasy in December, we were on midship starboard and had a fantastic view of the fireworks.
