Help! Four of us going in October. :cheer2: We have a one bedroom. What is the best room location? :confused3 Is it better to stay closer to the pool? How far is the walk to epcot? Does anyone have any special tips or secrets? Thank for your help! :dance3:

The walk to the pool or to Epcot is really, really short IMO so I don't think that's much of an issue unless some one has mobility issues. One year we got a room on the first floor right across from the quiet pool. I didn't particular care for it for the simple fact, I didn't like having my curtains close all day since I thought people could look directly in from the pool.

The "best room" at BCV is entirely dependent on what you want.

First decide what is imprtant to you. Do you have a preference for smoking/non-smoking? Upper/lower floors? Near/away from elevators? Decide on these items, prioritize them and have them listed in that order on your reservation.

Room preference really is up to you, but if you're looking for suggestions, I would suggest you request a room on an upper floor, near an elevator. We usually request that along with a pool view because it is very serene and in the evenings you can see fireworks from the MK. The pool view is of the quiet pool- not SAB... you can not see SAB from the Villas. If you request an EPCOT view room you should be able to see either Spaceship Earth or The World Showcase. If the latter is chosen- you will see Illuminations fireworks (at least the high ones) from your room if you're on an upper floor and you will definetly hear it!

The walk to EPCOT will take you anywhere from 5-10 minutes depending on how fast you walk- not the location of your room. It is a very nice walk- and really fun to change it up and enter the park through the back door.

Tip???? Maybe try looking for the alligator in the BCV waters. I think he's still there! Also- there is a barbeque grill and picnic table down by the quiet pool. Why don't you plan on a little cook out one night? That might be fun!

Go to Parkinfo2go .com /dvc-bcv/ they have detailed maps and ratings, even some photos of the rooms by room number and color coded maps of all rooms all floors.

I have stayed at BCV many times as you can see from my sig, I can honestly say I've never had a room that I wouldn't want to stay in again, but I haven't been in them all yet and probably never will. I used to prefer the woods views with the Illuminations views, but now I like the Quiet Pool view best. I don't think I would be happy with first floor. If you will have a car being closer to parking is convient. I like being close to the elevators preferably the ones closest to the main lobby.
Remember you can request anything but you may not get it, so request as many different things as you may want and hope you get one of them.
