Best room areas at AKL

EEK I double posted a thread so I will ask this question. What is the best section to ask for at AKL view wise and animal wise? What room did you stay in? Was it a good or bad view?

We stayed in room 2225 on the Kudu Trail...Arusha Savannah...it was great...great view and lots of animals to see!!

If we stay at the AKL again we would definately ask for a room on the Zebra Trail. We had a savannah view Kudu Trail (free upgrade) It was a pleasant enough experience, but we would ask for a pool view near Mara's food court. If you are at the end of the Zebra Trail or on the Kudu Trail, you will have a very long walk to the pool, lobby or for food. We bought the mugs for the free refills, and several times paid for soda from the vending machines, it was just too far a walk just for a drink.
