My family and I haven't gone to universal ever. So I would like to know what are the best rides and reasons why you like them. Just some insight thank you sooo very much:cutie:

Here are my favorites. FJ and simpsons are the best. The rest tied.

1. Forbidden Journey
This is one of the most unique rides ever. Very thrilling and great effects.

2. Simpsons
I thought this ride was really unusual and realistic. Deserves a visit!

Dragon Challenge
The ride itself wasn't extremely thrilling for me, but I liked that it was a smooth coaster that felt really secure.

ET
I really like this relaxing visual ride. I thought the ID cards/passport feature was uneccesary and added too much time to the line, but overall this was great.

Poseidon's Fury
I thought the effects in here were great.

IOA
Forbidden Journey
Spiderman
Dragon Challenge

Universal
Simpsons
Rip Ride Rocket
The Mummy

We love roller coasters!

US-
Rip Rocket Rollar Coaster...looks really intense, but with the soundtrack in my ears I hardly noticed the ride

Simpsons...am not a simpsons fan at all, in fact never have seen more than 30 seconds of the show, but the ride was so much fun

Terminator...not a ride but I loved the special effects of the show

IOA-
Forbidden Journey...yep, HP fan-loved it!!!

Dueling Dragons...loved the smoothness of this coaster (must do both sides)

Posidon Fury...not really a ride but it was fun experience

Dr. Dread...if you like TOT at WDW...this is fun, although not as fun as TOT

^Lol, there is no ride called Dr. Dread. It's Doctor Doom's Fearfall. It's a freefall style ride located in Marvel Superhero Island. The entire ride is very short, but the theming and build up to the launch is pretty cool. Don't wait more than 10 minutes for it.

USF:

MIB - LOVE IT. I'm in love with laser tag though, i like that it can be different every time through your score and such.

Jaws - Amusing ride, dont know why i love it so.

ROTM - Its a good roller coaster.

IOA

Love water rides so - Jurassic Park River adventure, and Bluto's

FJ - Great Harry potter ride

We haven't been to IOA for 4 years but plan on getting there this year.

My favorite is still the Hulk.

There are many so I'll give you a narrow few that I think are the very best, and I'll exclude FJ since you'll have to do the HP area anyway. I will also not rank per park, but per ride, the best IMO. (And all of the top 3 are really equal in quality.)

1) Jurassic Park River Adventure

2) Spiderman

3) The Mummy

4) Men In Black

5) Jaws

Also good, Terminator, ET, (all the coasters), Twister cool show. And I enjoy about 90% of the rides, so these are just at the top of the list. (And I have not been on the Simpsons yet.)

Going back there next month so I'm sure that I'll be adding FJ & RRR :rotfl: but as of right now these are top choices, in order:

IOA
Hulk
Spiderman
Dragon Challenge
-I'm not much of a water ride person but my DDs love them

USF
Mummy
Simpsons
MIB
Mummy (oops already counted that one but we  it so much-it needs to be counted twice)

Universal Studios
Revenge of the Mummy - it's a mix of a dark ride and a roller coaster. It's a fun ride - I love the coaster part. They take your picture on this ride.

E.T. Adventure - I like this ride for the nostalgia. I first rode it when I was younger, and it makes me think of the early 90s. It's a good family ride, and there is something fun at the end!

Islands of Adventure
The Amazing Adventures of Spider-Man: LOVE this ride. It incorporates 3D and neat effects. This is a must-see at IOA!

Harry Potter and the Forbidden Journey: This is a very neat and intense ride. It involves a simulator ride plus you see a lot of other neat animatronics. A little hard to describe, as people have mentioned. One thing I want to add, from what I have read on here, is that some people tend to get motion sick on this ride. Even people who usually don't get motion sickness. Or on the flip side, some people who are prone to motion sickness end up doing okay on it. Just a little heads-up. Here is a recent thread that discusses it. They take your picture on this ride.

The Incredible Hulk Coaster: love this roller coaster! I don't know if you have been to WDW, but I think it's comparable to Rock 'n' Roller Coaster at DHS. The launch at the beginning of the ride is fun, and I didn't seem to feel any major drops on it. It looks (and sounds) scary when you are walking around it at the park, but it really isn't as scary as it looks/sounds. Very smooth. After you get off, you might feel a bit light-headed - but it is a great ride! They take your picture on this ride.

All the rides in both parks are great!

But the most enjoyable ride is the boat ride back to RPR at the end of the day.:thumbsup2
