What rides in each park do you guys think my dd 21/2 (she will be 3 in Dec)would enjoy. In MK the choices are pretty obvious: dumbo, small world, peter pan ect. But I'm not so sure about Epcot, AK, and MGM so a little help please.

We took DD when she was 2 1/2. She loved everything with a boat, LOL. Her most favorite was Pooh, and after that I think Jungle Cruise. We spent 3 days out of 6 at the Magic Kingdom, by far her favorite. As for the other parks..

AK- She really liked the Safari. Other than that I think we did mostly shows. She enjoyed the Lion King show, and thought Pocahontas was ok. Also walked a trail and met characters, I think that was it for this park. Didn't do dinoland as she first refused all rides that spin (dumbo, etc.) Finally dragged her on onw the last day and she loved it go figure.

MGM- Loved Playhouse Disney show, also did Ariel and Beauty and Beast show, which she liked all of. NOt really old enough for any rides, but the playground and characters helped to break up all the shows.

Epcot- Did not do well here. Might've been a bad day for her. She didn't like Journey in your Imagination ride but loved the play area. We did this first and she had the area all to herself. She liked the Crush "show" and living seas. Otherwise she didn't seem to care about much else there...

If she likes to color (and you really want to see World Showcase!) you could stroll around World Showcase and have her make a mask. There are stations in each country where she can sit and color and the CMs will add a die-cut representing their country. If you visit each country you'll receive a certificate at the end. She may want to color the whole thing at one country though, so beware!!

My three year old Grand Niece just loved the Barnstormer roller coaster at Goofy's Wiseacre Farm in Toontown Fair. She rode it three times in a row.

Last time we went with our just turned three year old and his two year old sister. As you mentioned, they loved the fantasy land rides...especially Pooh, Peter Pan and the teacups. My son (the older) loved the tomorrowland speedway (he rode with Dad). Small World was under refurbishing at the time. My son also loved the barnstormer. They both liked Aladdin's Magic Carpets, too.

As for MGM, they liked the great movie ride, Muppet Vision 3-D, the Beauty and the Beast show, and the Playhouse Disney show. The Little Mermaid show was fine for them once and the next time they freaked out about the time that Ursula makes her appearance. She was scary to them.

At AK, all we did was the Lion King show. The park was really crowded that day with field trippers, so we didn't even do anything else. Sorry, I'm not too much help there!

At Epcot, they did make masks. I thought they might be too little, but they really did like it. They also loved the toy shop in England (with the Thomas Train). They enjoyed the river boat ride in Mexico and the Norway Maelstrom. Caution: there are some kind of "scary" looking trolls in there, so just a heads-up on that.

The thing my little ones most enjoyed on that trip were the characters. They loved to see them, seek them out, and then talk to them. It is a magical age, because everything was "real" to them.

Enjoy!

Also in EPCOT, the Land & Journey Into Imagination are good choices... along w/ the new Nemo ride once it opens.

When I saw your post I thought it meant 21 two-year-olds and figured you were insane! "Who could keep track of 21 two-year-olds in a theme park?!"

Disney has a list for little ones on its website: http://disneyworld.disney.go.com/wdw/experience/expListing?id=PreschoolersExpListingPage

The only little kid rides I'd avoid with a 2-year-old would be the Tiki Birds and It's Tough To Be a Bug...both have moments that scare little ones.

Have a great trip!

That did freak my kids out too! They hated it! Thanks for the reminder.

Mine loved the 3D shows, both in MK and MGM. MK - mainly Fantasyland and Magic Carpets and seeing all the characters (He LOVED meeting Aladin b/c he pulled a "gem" out of his ear!). MGM also loved Playhouse Disney, and the Doodlebops were there when we were there. Beauty and the Beast was fine. He was also a little scared in Little Mermaid

He also loved the train around MK! I agree he also didn't much care for the Tiki Birds and we took him on PoTC, which he also didn't care for. Jungle Cruise he wasn't scared, but not sure he liked it either.

Depending on the his mood, he'll say he liked Pooh the best or Muppet 3D.

Here's what my DD (then 2 mos. shy of 3) loved:
AK: The Boneyard, Lion King & Affection Section.
Epcot: Journey Into Imagination, The American Adventure & the fish tank at The Living Seas.
MGM: Playhouse Disney & The Great Movie Ride
MK: It's a Small World, the Carousel, Indy Speedway, Mad Tea Party, Tom Sawyer Island, Swiss Family Treehouse, TTA, the WDWRR & the Hall of Presidents.
Other: The boat to Wilderness Lodge, the Bus to...anywhere & the monorail.

Your daughter might be completely different. Mine liked the attractions that really threw no surprises at her. The only thing predictable about that age is that they will be completely unpredictable!

K, I just have to say that I read this as 21 two year olds! I was thinking to myself, "oh my gosh, this poor woman!" So glad to realize its one little kiddo!!!
