Mine and DH's trip has been off again on again due to the military. First DH had leave and then they took it away...Well, they granted him leave again a week ago for April 18-26. That's less than 2 weeks until we leave.:woohoo: So my question is what would be our best options for getting ADR's? Suggestions for either places or times would be great! Thanks!

Lunches might not be too hard. For dinner, you could try Boatwrights at POR, Yacht Club Galley at the YC, Olivia's at OKW, Marakesh at Epcot, Nine Dragons at Epcot.

Alfredo's and Biergarten always seem to have available seatings, and Le Cellier at lunch usually has a couple.

At MK, I usually have good luck with the Plaza (and its club sandwich and sundaes are to die for), and sometimes lunch at Liberty Tree.

I never eat with ADR's at MGM, always eat CS there, on the street near RNR.

ADR at Biergarten this week! I was totally surprised and delighted we could get in with short notice.

Have fun!

We were there last summer and the hotel concierge was able to book a last minute ressie at the Concourse Steak House. It was very good and not very crowded. That was in July so I had expected it to be packed.

Resort restaurants have always been good to me in this aspect. I have gotten same day ADR's at: Kona's Shutters at CBR, Cape May and a few others. Also some of the places in Epcot: Nine Dragons, San Angel, Marrakesh and Biergarten were all available when I called the day of last December. What I do when I am faced with this last minute thing is I call Disney Dining and tell them what park I want to eat at and they will look and see what they have. They will also sometimes make suggestions of nearby resort restaurants. Most character meals, Le Cellier, O'Hana and a few others are notoriously hard to come by last minute. But then there are always cancellations. I think even though its close you will be able to get adr's if you are flexible on times and locations. Good luck!

P.S. I am so glad this worked out for your husband to get this time off! Have a really fun time!

Give BOMA at AKL a try, usually has openings and is delicious! Must have the zebra domes if you haven't before.
Also, in EPCOT, Rose & Crown, Biergarten, and Marrakesh.
Good luck and happy eating!

I have neverhad trouble gettiing reservations at places when I first check in. I just made reservations today for dinner at Crystal Palace next week. THere were several times for me to choose too most were either early or late (being like 7:50). I think as long as your flexible you will be fine at most places.

Thanks so much to everyone who replied! I'll be making ADR's today! We'll see what we get! I feel good about it.:goodvibes

Good luck with getting your ADRs and I hope you have a wonderful trip.

These days I prefer wilderness lodge over anything inside the MK for ADRs. The boat ride does me good, and the atmosphere is way way more relaxed.

For breakfast probably Kona, Cape May Buffet, Spoodles

For dinner probably Beirgarten, China, and maybe resort places. What about DTD?

If you cannot get what you want for dinner try getting in for lunch....
