Ok lets see if I can go 3 for 3 here and hopefully help others out as well. I am trying to get some reviews on the restaurants in DTD. Any feedback is appreciated.

I wouldn't call them the BEST PLACES EVER, but here is where we have gone.

We (2 adults) ate at Paradiso 37 on our fall '09 trip for a late lunch. We liked it. Not badly priced, enough food, seated promptly, good staff.

Ate at Planet Hollywood for our fall '09 (dinner) & '10 (lunch) trips. I know it's really commercial & some people hate that (you know what it is going in), but we have a nice time there. Seated promptly (without ADRs), treated well by staff, like the food we have ate so far there, enjoy looking at stuff/TVs & the $15 off voucher helps.

We have enjoyed Planet Hollywood for an early dinner.
We also like Rain Forrest Cafe.

We have teens - so they like both places.
DH likes sit downs - not Counter Service:rotfl:

Most of the restaurants in Downtown Disney are not on the dining plan. Restaurants that are not on the plan don't get a lot of play here.

We really liked Wolfgang puck cafe the first time we ate there in 2007.
In 2007, not so much.

We also enjoyed Rainforest (nothing fancy, but overall, ok),]
We liked Fultons & Raglan Road.

in case you need to know, these places are on the 2011 Dining plan:

Cookes of Dublin (L,D)
Earl of Sandwich (B,L,D)
FoodQuest (L,D)
Pollo Campero / Fresh A-Peel (B,L,D)
Wolfgang Puck® Express (L,D)
Cap’n Jack’s Restaurant (L,D)
Planet Hollywood® (L,D)
Raglan RoadTM Irish Pub and Restaurant (L,D)
Wolfgang Puck® Cafe (first floor only) (L

We really like Earl of Sandwich and Wolf Gang Puck Cafe. Raglan Road was ok. The atmosphere was great and the food was good.

Wolfgang Puck. On the dining plan and easily the best meal we had on our whole trip!

Our entire family enjoyed their meals: I had the macadamia nut crusted chicken which was OUTSTANDING, and my husband had flatiron steak with blue cheese butter. Yumm. My boys (ages 5 and 9) both had the kids cheese pizza, and it was the only pizza I saw all week that even looked edible. Desserts were incredible: I had carrot cake, my husband had a chocolate lava cake sort of thing, and the boys both had a make your own sundae (ice cream with a few toppings on the side). The whole family agreed it was probably the only restaurant we ate at that we felt like we'd do again: with so many choices at Disney, even if we liked it we'd probably be inclined to try something else first, but Wolfgang was a must do!

I like eating at DTD because they don't have a captive "Disney" audience with the Disney Dining Plan. They have to be good enough for the general public to want to eat there as well.

Also, try the helium balloon while you're at DTD: the kids talk about it all of the time!

I also enjoyed Wolfgang Puck cafe. They even did a fantastic job on a special cake I ordered.

Another favorite I have to have is Fulton's Crab house.

I love the Jazz Kitchen. I have a friend who works there and she sits down to eat with me... just so I can get a discount. It's a fairly pricey place to be eating! Pricey but good!

I honestly don't love any of the Downtown Disney table-service restaurants, and I almost never use the dining plan. Honestly, I prefer Wolfgang Puck Express to just about every other option. I wouldn't make a special trip to Downtown Disney just for a meal. If you happen to be hungry in the area, you'd probably be best served sticking to counter service.

There is no Jazz Kitchen at WDW - this apparently refers to Disneyland.

I don't love any of them either. I like Raglan Road and House of Blues and Wolfgang Puck Dining Room. I didn't like Bongos except for the mojitos. While I haven't been to RFC there, I have been to others in the chain and prefer it only for drinks at the bar, not food. Wolfgang Puck Cafe has good food, but both times I have been recently there were service issues (glaring ones). I don't go to DTD much since the PI clubs closed.

I like Portobello and Fulton's. We've enjoyed Raglan Road a couple times, but we've never actually had entrées there, so I can't fully recommend it.

Wolfgang Puck Express is really good, and its only a counter service!
Wolfgang Puck Cafe is also a good pick for a table service. We also liked Planet Hollywood and you can use the vouchers from your package. Fultons was also very good but its not on the dining plan.

It's counter service but we like Wolfgang Puck Express. In fact, it's one of the few CS places we do like.

As far as TS we like Raglan Road and House of Blues.

Not at DTD, but right across the lake, we really like the Turf Club at Saratoga Springs.

Wolfgang Puck Cafe for me. Steak with blue cheese was outstanding and I can't wait to get back for more. My wife and son both ordered pizza and even though my son's order was from the kids menu, it was just as big as my wife's regular adult sized pizza.
