I have two teenage boys 17 and 14. Any suggestions on restaurants that might appeal to them. My oldest is a very picky eater also.

Hmmm, let's see. How about ESPN Club on the boardwalk if they're into sports. There's Restaurant Marrakesh in Morraco with the bellydancer;) , they might like Planet Hollywood for the cool movie memrobilia, Ohana for endless amounts of good food and cool atmosphere, San Angel Inn in Mexico has a cool atmosphere and good food, we did Teppanyaki in Japan this time and I would think a teen boy would like it there as well. They'd probably like the food in Germany but think the entertainment was corny, oh, and what about Whispering Canyon Cafe? I bet they'd like the antics there. If I think of any more I'll add them later, but these will give you something to consider.

I was going to say Teppanyaki in japan also....you sit around the grill as chef dices and entertains while he cooks your food

Taking several nephews this year (age 15). They were last at WDW when 10 and they have asked to go to Sci Fi and Chef Mickey's.

My 2 oldest, 16 and 14, like Sci Fi and they had a great time at Prime Time when we were there. The waiter got my 14 yr old to eat a couple of green beans--which he hates, lol.
They also really enjoyed Ohana's and the food at Chef Mickeys. We also at at San Angel Inn but they didnt seem to crazy about it. Its not the Tex-Mex we are used to.

I have 3 teen boys ages 17, 16 and 14. They are pretty experienced WDW diners (we've been about 19 times in the past 10 years) and I think their top choices would be:
1.) Boma
2.) Teppanyaki
3.) Beaches and Cream for burgers and ice cream
4.) Trail's End for breakfast
5.) LTT for lunch
6.) San Angel
7.) Crockett's Tavern for a meal made of birch beer, quesadillas and wings
8.) Brown Derby

They thought ESPN was cool but didn't care for the food. My guys just hate the belly dancer in Morocco. (They only found it slightly more amusing when mom got pulled out to dance.)
edited to add :
9.) Kona (How could I forget that--they always say Kona's their favorite place to kick off the vacation.)
10.)Jiko--for a nicer dining experience that's more relaxing than some of the other finer restaurants. The boys loved it!

When my DD was 18, we took her boyfriend, also 18, with us.

That boy loves to eat. His favorite places were:

Beaches and Cream (they ate there 3 times)
ESPN
Boma
LTT
50's
Spoodle's (they ate there 4 times .. 2 dinner, 2 breakfast)

A great place to take a teenager would be the new Earl of Sandwich at DTD. Very good food at decent prices!

I have 14 and 15 year old boys. Each family member gets to choose a place of their choice to eat on each trip. This year, the 14 year old's choice is Beaches and Cream and the 15 year old's choice is Rainforest Cafe in AK.

They also enjoy Prime Time Cafe and Whispering Canyon Cafe.
