DH and I will be celebrating our 35th anniversary while in WDW in November. Where would you celebrate with a special dinner?

We will be staying at the GF and then YC. Our anniversary is actually while at the YC.

Thanks!

Best All-around (food & view) - California Grill. Recently renovated and re-opening in September. The view of Magic Kingdom and fireworks is unsurpassed. A truly unique Disney experience.

Best Service (jacket required for gentlemen) - Victoria & Albert. Service like this is not easy to find in America. If you get the Chef's Table for an anniversary dinner, this would be truly special. But be advised, the fare on the standard tasting menu is not for everyone.

Best Food - blueZoo in Dolphin (close to Yacht Club). No restaurant at Disney has as many choices for fish, particularly whole fish. Since this is not part of Disney Dining, you will likely find fewer children. Lastly, the spacing between tables is more conducive to a special occasion.

For the record, when we stay on Boardwalk, we always eat at blueZoo. When we stay on Monorail, we always eat at CA Grill. And when CA Grill was not accepting reservations during renovations, my wife decided she was willing to bring along a 'fancy' dress and that I should bring a jacket for an evening at Victoria & Albert. We dine at all three in just over 60 days.:dance3:

Happy Anniversary!! My DH & I will be celebrating our 35th @ YC & GF in Sept! :goodvibes

We are "meat & potatoes" types, don't like fancy sides or sauces. And not into wines either. We do like signature dining tho & my DH will have a fillet every night! :crazy2:

We love Yachtsman's Steakhouse & feel their food & service is excellent. We are trying Monsieur Paul & Citrico's for the first time. The atmosphere & food sound good for an anniversary celebration. We had California Grill booked but the new menu doesn't appeal to us, so we'll skip it. And while the view is wonderful, the atmosphere isn't very romantic, IMHO.

We also like Hollywood Brown Derby. Good food & while it can get loud, sitting in 1 of the booths makes for a private meal & we have had excellent service there.

Congratulations & have a wonderful vacation! :goodvibes

Happy Anniversary!!!!

My parents, along with my brother (then 16) and myself (then 20) celebrated their 25th anniversary at Walt Disney World. We stayed at the Grand Floridian--it was our first time on property--and the anniversary meal was at Victoria & Albert's. I remember it being one of the best meals I've ever eaten. This was 23 years ago... lol But I remember it being magical.
