What's the best restaurant in Downtown Disney?

Some examples of the "style" that we like - Uno's, Giordano's, Olive Garden, Green Mill, Chile's.

Also - can you see the Magic Kingdom fireworks from Downtown Disney?

I like Paradiso 37 but it is a little "spicy". It is a lot of fun and has great drinks!!!!

We love planet Hollywood:cool1:, the food Is ok,but the atmesphere Is so fun Its a must every trip and some times twice

Why eat someplace that's in about every city?

Check out Ragland Rd or Portobello for a nice TS experience or Earl of Sandwich for a lunch or light dinner. :)

Go to Raglan Road excellent food and Earl of Sandwich for lunch but do not got to Rainforest it is terrible and not worth the wait. Planet Hollywood is ok and if you got a package plan you usually get a coupon with you reservation so save you a little money. Food is ok and like the other post said it is all about the atmosphere take pics. Never been to Portobello but have heard nothing but great things about it.
:thumbsup2

We like Raglan Road as well.....but Rainforest Cafe works well if you've got kids with you - or just the hubby and I sit at the bar there - you'll get all the atmosphere and great service that way - the food at Rainforest definitely the type that the restaurants you mentioned in your post serve - and while its not 5-star, we have never been disappointed:thumbsup2

Raglan Road is more adult - very loud when the music and dancing are going on - food is good - geared towards irish dishes - you'll have fun there as well:goodvibes

You can NOT see the Magic Kingdom from DTD - too far away:sad2:

Whatever place you choose the key is to RELAX AND GO WITH THE FLOW - aferall it's your vacation:cool1:

For table service I would recommend Fulton's Crab House and for counter service I would recommend Earl of Sandwich. Also a great place to have dessert is Ghiaradelli.

I love the dining at DTD - so far I've never had a bad meal here. In fact, usually our best meal of the trip is at DTD. So far I've eaten at both Wolfgang Puck and Cap'n Jacks, which both had the most amazing, delicious food. I recommend both and would eat at both places again, but Wolfgang Puck especially. Both the Express and Cafe serve great food. I also love Ghirardelli and Goofy's Candy Co for super yummy desserts. I am looking forward to trying Portobello on my upcoming trip in April.

We love Raglan Road. Had not discovered it until our last trip but it will be a must do on every future trip. Music, atmosphere, and dining were all excellent. House of Blues was pretty good, too, but not on dining plan if you are doing that. Earl of Sandwich was something my DH and sons really enjoyed as well for Counter Service/lunch. It is a must do as well!

We don't have any of those restaurants anywhere near where I live. I've eaten at a Planet Hollywood before but that was also on vacation.

We ate at planet hollywood, rainforest cafe, and earl of sandwich and I thought they were all good. I loved the cheesesteak sandwiches at planet hollywood. I know RC gets bad reviews but it was fine the time we ate there.

I think Rainforest is not so special to people because it really is just a dressed up Applebee feeling that people can get at home. Not to mention that everytime we eat there in Mall of America it freaks out my five year old with the Gorillas moving.
We are going to try Raglan and BB Kings this time. On the Magic Card from the Orlando Visitors there is a discount for them and sometimes they are on Restaurant.com

Another vote for Bongo's here....This place has it all. Great service, food, ambience, price. etc..... Gice it a try...You won't be disappointed.:thumbsup2 B.T.W. If ya do go May I suggest a nice table outside looking at the water::yes::

I really enjoyed T-Rex Cafe! The atmosphere is really cool - all of the animatronic dinosaurs are amazing. Also, the menu has a lot of options (very like Chili's, I would say) and can please even the pickiest of eaters.

Here they are in order according to me

Raglan Road
Fultons
Bongos
Wolfgang Puck
House of Blues
Portobello
Paradiso 37
T-Rex
Rainforest

Another vote for Paradiso37. Went there last summer for the first time. We will eat there at least one time each visit from now on.
