What would you say is the best TS restaurant in EPCOT & why?

Our best meal at Epcot so far has been at Le Cellier. My DH still claims it as the best steak he has ever had. The most "fun" meal would probably be the Garden Grill character dinner. The food is tasty and the characters have been so much fun there..it is a regular for us. :)

I believe you will get many responses on this question.

I prefer, San Angel Inn, Japanese, Bistro de France and Le Cellier. Their counter service is great at nearly every location, as well.

Enjoy.

too many to have just one favorite...Living Seas, Chef's de France, San Angel, L'originale Alfredo's....

Our favorites are Le Cellier, Teppenyaki, and Marrakesh (Sp?),
Eating in WS is a favorite part of each trip.
Enjoy!

Le Cellier hands down!!! The surf and turf was great, and I am in love with the cheddar cheese soup!! Mexico also has good food and great atmosphere.

1. Le Cellier...why?...the food is soooooooooooo good!!
2. Japan....good food, and great atomosphere
3. Mexico...ditto

IMO, Epcot has the BEST food in all of Disney. We always enjoy Restaurant Marrakesh- (great food and they ask the kids to get up and belly dance!), San Angel Inn (although really tasty, I feel like I should venture beyond things I normally can get at home), Sommerfest (although I don't love German food, the atmosphere is SO FUN), Teppeanyaki Dining Room (although we can get this at home, I LOVE it!)

For Food - Le Cellier
For Service - Coral Reef
For Atmosphere - San Angel Inn / Coral Reef

I thought Coral Reef was very good despite a lot of negative reviews.

I want to give my vote to The Rose & Crown Dining Room. DW and I really believe this has been our best meal in WDW to date. The food is authentic Brittish fare. The foods are more "homey" and rustic, but it is presented beautifully without getting away from it's rustic charm. Matter of fact, the cheese plate we sampled here outpaced the cheese offering at Le Chef de France by leaps and bounds. Desserts here were also very pleasing and extremly decadent. DW and I split the dessert trio: Sticky Toffee Pudding, Warm Apple Crumble, & Chocolate Guinnes Cake. We were very pleased!

The service we had topped off the entire experience. I know most WDW service is excellent, but our server here was the best we have encountered. Ask for Jo when you go, she is the best! :worship:

Do not overlook this jewel of an eatery.

Restaurant Marakkesh (sp?) in Morocco is my total favorite! I love the food, the atmosphere...

I love eating at Epcot - I could easily schedule a weeks worth of meals just at Epcot!

Le Cellier-excellent food

Chefs de France is also good, but not my favorite. I think as good as Le Cellier but seems to be more expensive.

Rose and Crown is also very nice, but still not my favorite.

Without a doubt LeCellier, everything we had was excellent
and Teppanyaki..wonderful!!

I have to say that I don't choose just one place at the WS...I prefer going to several CS places and snacking around the countries.

Places I'll go:
Norway: Kringla Bakeri og Cafe for strawberry cheesecake or one of the almond pretzels (I'll get it to go--gotta save the sweet stuff for later)

China: Lotus Blossom Cafe for eggroll (yes something I can get anywhere)

*Sometimes I go to Germany for bratwurst or Japan for teriyaki chicken.*

Morocco: Tangerine Cafe!!! Gotta stop there for a good chix wrap and couscous.

France: Boulangerine Patisserie used to be one of my faves for pastries then I moved to Dallas where we have La Madeline's. Virtually the same stuff hence the Norway adoption.

You can imagine how much I would have at the Food & Wine Festival!!!! ::yes::

After our last trip, which was 12/17/05 thru 12/26/05, we have eaten at all the Epcot restaurants, except the one in Norway. Le Cellier is our absolute favorite. We had the best food and the best service there on our last visit. On the other hand, a previous favorite, Marrakesh was a major disapointment this trip....terrible, overcooked food and awful service, the only time we ever felt rushed at WDW.

We had the best food at Le Cellier! My filet was so tender and delicious, and my daughter's prime rib was the best I've ever tasted. Son's salmon and hubby's NY Strip were also wonderful. The breadsticks were warm and delicious, and the appetizers were scrumptious (the cheese soup was soooo good). The desserts were awesome as well. Wish I would've eaten there more than once, but we wanted to try other places. Now I REALLY wish we would have eaten there more than once!

EPCOT is our favorite place to eat!!! Soooo goood!!

We love Sommerfest - I am not that big into German food, but the atmosphere is an absolute blast!

We also love Rose and Crown Dining Room - Very good Fish and Chips and fun atmosphere

L'originale Alfredo's is also very good. Great for a romantic dinner or something like that

Have fun and enjoy!!! It's a blast at EPCOT!!!

CHEFS DE FRANCE!!

Why?? -

1. No one does cheese like the French!
2. The food is marvelous
3. You can watch Illuminations at dinner
4. J'Adore Paris!!
5. That's where I was proposed to!!! :flower:
