Hi,
Will be going to Orlando end of September into Oct. Looking at several resorts,Grand Beach, Bryans Spanish Cove, Celebrity Resorts, Kingston Reef, Orlando Sunshine II and Fairfield Cypress Palms. How do these rate and which would be top one, just 2 of us, don't need that much space, but want the cleanliness and updated or newer resorts. All info would be greatly appreciated. Stayed at Cypress Pointe last year which was great, wanted to try something new.
Thanks!
Margaret :cheer2:

First time we went we stayed at the Marriott world resort and yes it is beautiful but we paid more to stay off site than we would have at a moderate level disney property. We have stayed at the poly, Carribean Beach and Coronado. I really think the best value is staying at the moderate price hotels. Once you but your room then add tickets and meals this si such a great price.

Any question please feel free to ask.

Margaret,

Be sure to check out the 'Disney Resorts' board and the 'Orlando Hotels & Attractions' board. You'll find tons of information there!

Try the best of both worlds: an independent property on Hotel Plaza Blvd. (Disney property, a few blocks from Downtown Disney).

You can usually find a good rate of $65-$89/night at either the Best Western Inside WDW or the Hotel Royal Plaza which both offer free shuttles to the parks. And you'd be within walking distance to Downtown Disney, something you can't say for most of Disney's onsite hotels.

Thanks, onsite are to expensive and we will not be going to all of the parks, using Orlando as base for some day trips.
