We are wanting to watch one of the fireworks on the Friday night of our trip. We can do dinner at the resort if we need to. But which resort is the best to watch the fireworks without having a room there. Last time we were lucky and our friend had a room at the Contemporary and we were able to watch from their balcony on the night we weren't in the parks.

Epcot fireworks are not as good as MK in my opinion. I would go to the Grand Floridian and sit outside Gasparillas or go to BLT or Contemporary and watch out of the hallway windows or from the MK Ferry port.

How would you get to the resort as that determines if you want to book a dinner reservation to guarantee access the resorts by vehicle?

or from the MK Ferry port
The Ferry location at TTC is a good choice for MK Fireworks, and they pipe in the music. The TTC also allows multiple transportion options.

I would choose an MK resort to see the fireworks. I do not find the view to be terribly good from any of the EP resorts unless you have a standard view room at RIV booked. GF has great views as does Poly.

We are going to MK on Saturday, so we'll see them then. But thank you for this option for watching MK from GF if that's what we decide to do.
