Best resort to stay in Dec?

We are a family of 5 and I was wondering which resort is the best to stay in the month of Dec? I love Christmas decorations. We have stayed at POR and enjoyed it but I was wondering if it was deocrated nice for the holidays. Has anyone stayed at the BC/YC during the holidays? How is it?

I thought WL was absolutely gorgeous for the holidays

The Wilderness Lodge is my favorite at Christmas time also, but since you say that there are 5 in your party and unless you stay at the villas or get a junior suite you can not have 5 people in the rroom at WL. My next choice would be the Yacht or Beach Club. It is so close to Epcot where it has the most Christmas activities happening but is also great for resort hopping over to the Boardwalk and the Dolphin

We stayed at WL during Christmas and it was beyond beautiful...very pretty decorations....we ate at the BC one night and it was also decorated very nicely...I would probably stay at WL and get a junior suite...if money was not an option I think I would consider GF

WL or GF typically get the most votes for resorts based on Christmas decorations.

The Wildie is quite simply .... my home.

HOWEVER.......

There are so many wonderful holiday events at EPCOT and MGM/Hollywood Studios - we now stay at an EPCOT resort (1 BR villa at boardwalk this year - can't wait!)

Hollywood Studios has Osborne Lights

EPCOT has candelight processional and special holiday post script to Illuminations, the Tree Lighting and the dancing lights near the tree and the wonderul Holiday music following Illuminations. It takes us at least an HOUR after Illuminations to wander around World Showcase, soak up the music and lights and tiptoe back to Boardwalk.

It's nice to depend on your feet after all that....vs. a bus, car, water taxi, etc.

WL hands down...the most gorgeous setting for the holidays.

We stayed at both the Boardwalk and WL last Dec and both were very pretty. the WL was just beautiful. The Boardwalk was also very pretty, but the rooms need updating. While I probably wouldn't stay there again, it would be worth the walk over from the BC/YC to see the decorations.

We stayed at the WL for our December Disneymoon and it was absolutely B-E-A-U-T-I-F-U-L!

The WL will always hold a special place in my heart. I would recommend you stay there...you and your family will LOVE it!

I think POR is decorated beautifully for Christmas, red and white flowers outside the front and rear of the lobby, a large tree in the lobby, garlands in the halllways, lounge and restaurant. I love it

We were just at AKV Dec. 20-26 & loved it.

Santa Claus, Mickey, & Minnie were all there on Christmas Eve & we got pics with all of them right in front of the giant Christmas tree in the lobby. The resort is beautiful. We can't wait to stay there again.

We had a great time also at WL in December. The decorations are quite magnificent and the festive cheer was everywhere.

We stayed at the BCV for our first true xmas stay(Dec21-28) and had the best time.Swimming at Stormalomg Bay (best pool Disney has to offer) a few days especially on xmas day.The decoration were very good(not the best...GF for that..)I don't know what other resorts did during the day for their guests but in the lobby for half an hour each day we were there until the 25th Mickey and Minnie let everyone take as many pictures with them.It was the thrill of a lifetime for my little ones to have M&M almost all to themselves (because not to many people knew about it)while we took a load of pictures with them........PRICELESS!
BTW; we would do it again in a heart beat!
