Hello,
We are planning a trip back to Disney..WHOO-HOO!!
I found out about skyauction and I would like some feedback on what are the better resort auctions to bid for. Are there some that I should steer clear of. I will have two teens with me so a two bedroom condo looks nice to me.

When you look at the bids, check out the actual resort as well. You can go onto www.rci.com & find most of them there... I think I would stay away from High Point & Celebration .... I haven't heard too many good things about them... Vistana, Marriott, Orange Lake, Summer Bay, Cypress & Westgate I think are some of the better ones ..there are other better ones that I just can't think of the names right now. Another place to go would be to www.tripadvisor.com to check out some reviews.

don't go with Westgate

Hilton Grand Vacation Club are pretty nice - the Marriott won't be on skyauction (they are all II)

I also have heard wonderful things about Summer Bay - but kept in mind it and Orange Lake are pretty far from WDW.

alot of the WDW property address are on map quest -

so put in WDW - or Disney World

I have stayed at Westgate Villa's thru Priceline & had no problems. The unit was very nice & we were never asked to attend a timeshare promo. We were even given cards to go to the owners breakfast & the dinner get together. We were to get a 2 bed that slept 6 & they upgraded us to one that slept 8 just for the asking. I wouldn't hesitate to stay there again. There were many things to do & the ride to Disney was a snap.

Can you tell me what you mean when you refer to the Marriott as a II?

Hi. I am basically timeshare-challenged in all the lingo, but II means trading through Interval International. We have won Cypress Pointe Grand Villas for this October and from all accounts it is a great place to stay.
