Well, its hard to believe, but both my kids are now teens.

I have a very tall 17 yer old.
And
A growing teen daughter 15.

Of course they would rather not share a bed at this age. So I am looking at options onsite that have 3 bedding options. Wife and I will share one, then one each for the kids.

I think my daughter could squeeze into a fifth pull down?

Suggestions?

Coronado has suites as well correct?

I am looking for a moderate if possible?

You can usually get the Dolphin for the same price as a Disney moderate. You do miss out on Magical Express, and on being able to charge with your Magic Band.

A suite at CSR will cost much more than a room at a deluxe resort. Around $1000 a night. It would be cheaper to do a room at the Poly.

Or you could bring along an air mattress and have them take turns sleeping on it.

If your daughter can sleep on a pull down I woudl look at POR.

I do not know your budget, however if you want a deluxe, BC and the Grand will sleep 5 with the sofa that turns into a bed. That may work for you.

I also woudl look at the Cabins in FW

POR is probably number one on our list right now, but honestly thinking of staying off site for better accommodations.

POR only has bus transport correct?

So the only other advantage is FP 60 days?

In late October not sure how much we care about FP 60 days

It's all a matter of preference. I am a nervous Nellie so I like FP at 60 days, but I do not believe that they are necessary if you plan well. I do not. LOL!

POR has the boat to DS, but that is it other than bus transport. I would consider a Skyliner resort if transportation is a consideration and you want onsite. Cost out CBR, and do not forget the tower rooms there. If you do not mind an air mattress you may be okay.

October is pretty busy with Food and Wine and the Halloween parties.

You can fit into any size Disney resort, if you don't mind going the air mattress route. I would only ever stay off site if I had a rental car. And then you have to factor in those extra fees, and the extra time it will take to get to the parks.

CBR has 5th sleepers too plus the skyliner and one of the best pools of any moderate resort.

Keep in mind the sleeper is smaller than a twin bed. They measure 63 x 32. Disney lists them as child-sized. Depending on the child they may be more comfortable on an air mattress.

How do you get an air mattress if you are flying?

Have it delivered?

The child size pull-down at POR is 35"w x 65"l and probably sturdy enough (not knowing your kid's details) It works differently than the problematic murphy beds and as long as the kid fits should be an option to consider.

Other than what everyone has mentioned above, AKL has bunk bed rooms that overlook the pool or savanna.
AKL is usually the least expensive of the deluxe resorts.
WL has the same, but it's typically a little more than AKL.
