Hi all I am doing my ADR's and I would love some suggestions on what you all think are the best restaurants in the resorts, not the parks. Thanks!

AKV is my favorite with jiko and boma.

the california grill in the CR is great (and now a short walk from the BLT).

narcoossee's at the GF is terrific. love the view and the food.

i enjoy the sushi at kimonos in the swan - tho' not technically a disney resort.

for less expensive fun with regional cuisine, i like to take a boat from DTD to POFQ for a muffaletta and some beignets.

I see you are at BWV/BCV. We love Cape May at BC. Yacthsman Steakhouse at YC ( for a great place to sit and have a drink Crews Cup Lounge at YC)Ohanas at POLY,

I highly recommend Artist's Point at WL; the buffalo striploin is excellent.

Some of my faves, Ohana, Boma, Ohana, Nine Dragons, Boma, Sci-Fi, Ohana, Plaza Inn, Boma, The Biergarten, Ohana, Yachtsmans Steakhouse, oh and last, Boma.

I got Cape May for breakfast, tried to get Ohana but its all booked for my trip unless we want to go at 8:50pm which I don't think my 2 year old would tolerate very well :) Is yachtsman signature dining?

Love Cali Grill and The Wave- also Citricos at GF for finer dining-that one is not the greatest for kids, though ours were so crazy about the waiter they asked to go back.

Kona Cafe at the Poly was mine and my daughter's favorite meal when we were on the dining plan (didn't do any signature dinners). The boys in my family really like ESPN (probably not for the food, exactly, just a fun experience).

Yes, Yachtsman is Signature, 2 credits, no appetizer with the basic plan only with the deluxe.

Ohanas at the Poly is one of our favourites. Also, you must do Chef Mickey's at the Contemporary at least once! It's pricey, but it's cool to watch the monorails while you're eating! :thumbsup2

6 of us had good meals at the Captain's Grill in February. It was wonderful to be able to get an ADR just that same afternoon, and enjoy the meal so much.

LOL, I got Boma and finally got Ohana! Earlier I couldn't get a ressie but kept trying. I'm thinking I might get the deluxe DP so I can just eat like crazy for this trip haha

Thanks all, you have me wanting to book like 20 ADRs and drive DH crazy trying to get around to them all :)

DVCMike is a wise man! :thumbsup2 We really like CA Grill, Citricos, Jiko and Yachtsman Steakhouse. I'm adding Victoria & Albert's and Flying Fish to my list on my trip in less than 2 weeks, and bluezoo is planned for August - I expect all 3 will be added to the "must do" list, although we rotate them from trip to trip cause I just don't like going out to eat every night on vacation anymore. (too much food!)

I hope you enjoy Cape May... the Character breakfast is more relaxed than others. Whispering Canyon Cafe at WL is great for kids.

Kona (breakfast and dinner), Yachtsman Steakhouse, Ohana (breakfast and dinner), Whispering Canyon (lunch/dinner), and Chef Mickey's (if you are looking for a character meal) are some of our favorites. :thumbsup2
