I'd like to eat at some of the other resorts...we do this every time we go. However, we've eaten pretty much everywhere that I have wanted to at the TS restaurants (and will hit the others already on this trip, namely Boma and Ohana.) Are there any QS restaurants that are pretty great for us to check out? I know Captain Cook's has the phenomenal tonga toast...anywhere else with something just fab? TIA!

the one at GF has a lot of fans. Value resorts ones are bigger than the ones at the Moderates or Deluxes and have more selections. I want to try the GF one & the one at CR.

Yes, Captain Cook's is very good... We really like Contempo Cafe. It has a lot of "regular stuff" but it's close to Magic Kingdom and the cupcakes are unreal!

Check out AoA food court - probably the best on property and it has something for everyone!

Gasparilla Grill has a great salad and pasta station, but hands down AoA has the best food court in my opinion.

I was going to start this exact thread! Glad someone else had the same idea!
I'm thinking we might do Gasparilla Grill for lunch on Easter Sunday. We're doing breakfast at BOG and are leaving the park around noon that day, so I'm thinking rather than just returning to our home food court (CSR's Pepper Market), which we'll eat at plenty, we'll take the boat to GF and eat at Gasparilla. I figure it'll be quieter than the CS places in the MK, and I've never been to the GF so want to see it anyway (and the chocolate Easter eggs on display).

I'll be excited to see what other places get mentioned. I don't think we'll have time to go to AoA just to avail ourselves of their food court, but it's good to know that they have such a great one in case there are future trips!

We are fans of PORS and their build your own pasta or burger options. The magic cookie bars for dessert are delicious ... or you could walk over to POFQ for beignets :thumbsup2

. . . DEL: Capt Cook's at Poly
. . . MOD:Sassagoula Flatworks at POFQ
. . . VAL: Landscapes of Flavor at AoA
. . . DVC: Artist Pallette at SSR

I second any thoughts on Gasparilla Grill, it's one of our absolute favorites! They make amazing mickey waffles in the morning (even gluten free ones for me!). Another great spot is the Kona Caffe Coffee Bar. Aside from my favorite espresso drinks in Disney, they also make sushi! I'm not really sure if it's CS or TS since you do sit down but there's no reservations as far as I know? It's usually very quiet around lunch time. Also over at Port Orleans French Quarter their food court is great too. I haven't had the "real food" but the beignets are delicious and everything else at least looked & smelled good! :)

We thought Gasparilla was terrible. It took them 35 min to deliver food after ordering. The Cuban panini was mostly bread, with pathetic little bit of chewy pork inside somewhere. Flatbread was average to poor. The Mara is much, much better as a comparison. Would absolutely not make a trip to eat at Gasparilla.

Capt Cook's and Contempo Cafe are my favorites

Although it gets a lot of love on these boards, I don't care for Landscapes of Flavor at AoA. The menu seems really great but the execution has been bad in my experiences.

I'm a huge believer in Pepper Market at CSR *especially* if you're on the dining plan. My family always enjoys every station and have never had a bad meal there!

Captain Cook's at Poly.
Contempo Cafe at Contemporary
Landscapes of Flavor at AoA

I tried CSR's Pepper Market & wasn't that thrilled (had the ribs). I probably wouldn't venture out to any mod just for the QS.
