Best resort pool for young teens?

This time around we are staying at the GF but I'm already dreaming about / planning my next trip. For those that travel with young teens, what are their favorite resort pools?

How young? If they are strong and sensible, and you are confident to let them swim alone, Beach Club. The reason for the caveat is Stormalong Bay is like 5 different pool areas in a mini-waterpark. You can't keep an eye on them, so you have to be sure enough of them as swimmers and sensible kids to allow them to basically go off on their own, unless you swim beside them the whole time of course. But it is very nice, if the kids are old enough. And bonus, it is walking distance to 2 parks, and all the dining options of Epcot and the Boardwalk, and boat transportation too.

He's 13 and a very strong swimmer. I looked the BC up in the WDW site and it looks awesome! Would have never thought about it.

My kids were 15 and 9 when we stayed there. They stayed in the pool for hours each day. There were tons of teens and they would play pool volleyball the entire time. We even went to the parks one night and the kids stayed at the pool. It was a huge hit.

My kids loved SAB as teens and they are very strong swimmers, so I had no issues with the layout of the pool.

They really liked the clown pool at BW.

They thought the Poly pool was boring, good for little kids not for my teens.

Their favorite water fun at WDW is Typhoon Lagoon, it's a must for us.

I will be at the GF for a convention about the same time as you are there!

I agree with the others. I would go with BC for a teen. The pool and slide are fun, Hurricane Hannah's is poolside for QS and B&C is right there, too to grab some ice cream. They also have fun pool activities. As PP mentioned, there is usually a pretty rousing game of volleyball going on.

Hands down Stormalong Bay for a kid old enough to be safe on his own. Our kids love crossing the bridge to get food, grab a cone at Beaches, and having the huge pool spread to do the lazy river or go to a deep part. Many other pools aren't very deep.

SAB is fun! But any pool at WDW is great. When my daughters were teens, our first resort was CBR and they enjoyed that, also POR and WL.

Any. All the pools at Disney are awesome. If its really that important i'd say get Typhoon Lagoon tickets too.

SAB was my kids favorite at that age . Lots of variety .
Now they like the community pool at BWV with an occasional walk over to the clown slide.

Storm Along Bay at Yacht/Beach. Not even close. Currently sitting at Hurricane Hannah’s, the pool bar, having a drink before brunch.

We stayed at the Poly when my son was only 16 months old and we loved it! But I agree that I can't see us staying there again with a teen.

Their favorite water fun at WDW is Typhoon Lagoon, it's a must for us.

This is definitely on our bucket list for our next trip! Now that he's a teen I actually see us doing more non-park stuff like the water parks, mini-golf, and Boardwalk entertainment.

When we did BC we had just did 5 nights at the poly as part of our split stay. My kids were bored with the Poly pool too.

I like that at BLT you can swim in the BLT pool and the two CR pools - which would give your young teens a bit more variety and space if they can choose for themselves in the moment.

The Four Seasons pool area looks really good.

And the BWI pool slide is supposed to be one of the best.

My teen boys had a ball swimming at Coronado Springs. The pool slide at the main pool is a great one. They held a
“swim-around” to hit each of the resort’s pools.
