Best resort in November ?

My 1st trip to Disney w/ my daughters (6&9) we stayed at the Poly. Great resort but it rained (Nov2003). Going again in Nov. should I stay at Poly or save money and go moderate? Port & Dolphin on my list.

I say you should ALWAYS stay at the Poly!!I've never even been but from what I've learned from these boards, it's the greatest. We'll be there Nov. 3-8, 2004. I say stick to your original plans. It sounds to me like it's great for kids. What do your daughters say? If it rains at the Poly, it'll rain everywhere in Disneyworld.

Thanks for responding. I just thought for $300/ night and it rains . I'm not rich but anything for my girls.

I've not stayed at the Poly, but it does look really nice and gets great reviews. That said, I'm one of those that never wants to stay in the same place twice. Part of the fun is trying out the different resorts. So, my vote would be to try something new. We were at the Dolphin last November and really enjoyed it. The location is great! POR or POFQ would be great, too, and are on my 'to-try' list!

I would also vote for somewhere new. There are so many great resorts to choose from. Why don't you show your girls some pictures of the different resorts and pools and let them help decide!

Just to let you know we've been three times in November with maybe just a day of rain - so you may have much better weather this time!!! Sure hope so.
