Best resort for resort-only trip?

Ty I wasn't sure and didn't want to break the rules (all about law and order :)) The are great to work with, very helpful.

We are a family of six with four kids under 7 yrs. Looking to have a 6-7 night resort stay at one of the WDW resorts. We may do one or two day in the parks (MK and/or AK, likely), but mostly looking to relax in the magic. What do you all recommend as a resort for pools/activities/fireworks views,/walkability to restaurants? Thanks!
Beach Club or Contemporary

I clicked on there and I'm only seeing park tickets not resorts?
Yes, UT is an authorized ticket reseller and sells discounted park tickets. I was responding to a post about where to buy discounted park tickets, useful information for someone who’s interested in booking room-only via Disney or renting DVC points from an owner.

Animail Kingdom Lodge has a wonderful atmosphere! Two great pools with slides and hot tubs, pool bar, overlooks to see the animals, cultural activities, etc, Love it!

We also really liked Saratoga Springs last year way more than we expected. The rooms are all refurbished, two main pools with slides and pool bars, renting bikes, easy to walk to Disney Springs (especially if you upgrade to Congress Park area).

I guess technically not completely Disney but we stayed at Four Seasons last year for a week and it was hands down the nicest place I have ever been. Made all other Disney properties look bad. You have basically a mini water park to yourself, free kids club, adults only pool. tons of eating options, can see MK and Epcot fireworks, and the service was bananas. Of course the price is insane, but found a deal and paid less to stay there over July 4 week than we would have paid to stay at Poly or GF

I thought the Contemporary looked really cool!
It is really cool. You can see the fireworks from it. Also the Electric Water Pageant. Plus Bay Lake has things to offer including a boat ride over to the Wilderness area. The pools are relaxing and/or fun and the restaurants are good.

We have done a resort only trip at AKL and they had tons of activities. A cast member saw us hidden mickey hunting and gave us a scavenger hunt sheet for the resort. We have also stayed at the Sean/Dolphin and enjoyed the boardwalk, taking the boat around, played mini golf and rode the Skyliner.

Another option is Hilton Buena Vista Palace which is across the street from Disney Springs. It has a lazy River pool that my kids loved. We walked to Disney Springs and took the bus to the Contemporary to monorail hop. We stayed in a one bedroom suite in the outer complex for same price as a moderate!

We did a fantastic no parks trip to Saratoga Springs. It's proximity to Disney Springs made it a fantastic choice.

Oh we love a lazy river! Will look at that :). Is Disney Springs fun for kids?

While I’ve only seen travel videos of it, the Margaritaville resort looks amazing!
Also don’t forget about it the Swan and Dolphin!

AKL has the best immersive offering also a lot of activities. The pool at Jambo is great for younger kids if they become more adventurous Kidani has a much better slide as well as a really nice water play area. You can in fact see fireworks however it would only be from a small amount of rooms. DS is about a 10 minute bus ride once your on the bus so not horrible for a lot of Dining choices. if Dining is most important Saratoga is also a good choice the pools are nice you can also see some fireworks from Paddock pool. You would also be about 10 minutes from both MK and AK. If fireworks is your most important the best I can say is there is nothing better than being in the pool at the Poly it has an amazing view of the MK fireworks.
The pool has a better view than the beach?
