I asked this on the resort board as well but I thought I might get better answers over here.

DH loves to pin trade when we are at WDW and I was wondering if any resort is better for pin trading than others? Thanks! :)

Hi!
I haven't been to WDW since last November but they used to have a
weekly pin meet at the Contemporary (Is that the correct spelling?).
There might be other regular meets as well.
I'm sure one of the regulars in FL can help you out or a call to the hotel would do the trick. There is almost always trading going on at DTD where they sell the Build a Pins.

My parents live in Florida during the winter and every Friday night (I think it was Friday) they would go over to the Contemporary for the pin trading. I am not sure if they have this at any other resorts, but if they did I think my dad would have gone there too....

Greetings!
Thursday nights (7pm) at the All Star Sports Resort, Friday nights (7pm) on the 4 floor of the Contemporary Resort and most other days, pintraders can be found at Downtown Disney.

We were in WDW last week and Downtown Disney seemed to be the happening place to be pin trading every time we were there! There were always a dozen or more "serious" traders at the tables and they were eager to show their collections to us...needless to say, we were totally sucked into the whole pin thing!

My DS was only going to bring one lanyard with about 20 pins on it to trade. With all the trading going on at the Resorts and DTD, should we go ahead and bring his whole collection. He has a back pack and a carry bag full about 150 pins.

Hi!
So it's Thursday nights at the All Star, Fridays at the Contemporary, and Saturdays at the Poly, right?

I find the Boardwalk to be a great resort to tade at all the time. Seems like a lot of traders flow through there. Also The planed meets at the Contemp and All Star are fantastic. But I like the Boardwalk for everyday luck.

We were just there in July and the Pin Trading at All Stars on Thursday Nights seemed better than the Contemporary on Friday Nights.

We also found a pin trading session at the Hampton Inn, just behind the Crossroads Plaza. They had food and drink and a nice Air COnditioned area to trade in, I believe they normally use it for the free breakfast in the morning.

About 30 traders were there and it was really nice. While not on Disney property it certainly was as nice as the All Star Pin Trading.

It is on Saturday Nights and starts at 7:00 pm I believe.
