I know this is totally subjective, but I'm going crazy trying to decide. Do we just go with a value with buzz and woody, do we go for a moderate, probably the limit of our price range, or do we go all out and opt for a deluxe. We are going Feb. 25 through March 4th with the extended family and renting a house. Our family is going to stay a few extra days and probably try something on property. I'm looking at the pools, but in March, maybe that shouldn't be what sways my decision. Would love you hear your experienced opinions. Thanks!

go with what you can afford.

I happen to love Pop Century - but I did love Lady and tramp...

March can definitely be hot enough for swimming - or it can be too cold.

Before trying the values in July and last week, I would have said go for a moderate. Now, I have no hesitation booking a value. We really didn't feel a difference in the sizes of the rooms. All of the bathrooms, from value to deluxe feel the same size to me, too. If a fridge is important to your family (It saves us a bunch when we are at WDW for any length of time.), keep in mind that you will pay $10/day for a fridge at a value -- unless you need it for medical reasons (We got one free at ASMu for our younger son's antibiotics and had one in our room at Pop already.). Other than that, both have outdoor corridors. The landscaping may be slightly better at mods, but that is debatable. We have found the value pools to actually be far less busy than the mods or deluxes. Of course, we have somehow managed to avoid staying at the values at the same times as the school groups.

We go that time of year -- for the last three years -- and I would go with a moderate. My son really liked the POFQ at those ages. The slide was perfect for him and he could do it by himself at age 5. That made him feel great. The resort is smaller and easy to navigate. Not a long walk from any of the rooms to bus, food court, lobby, store. And, we like the theme with the cobblestone walkways and the alligators and music at the pool. Rooms were just redone and they have a refrigerator in them, now. The playground area is perfect for your three year old and POR has a more challenging one for the 5 yr old.

The nice thing is if you want, you can walk down to POR and go "fishing" using a Huck Finn type of set up. You pay for the worms and pole. It isn't very expensive ... and you can swim at their pool. Most times it is warm enough to swim -- depending on what you are used to ...

The deluxes are nice, especially at that age, if you stay at a MK resort --probably Polynesian would be my choice. But, for the price, I think you would have a great experience at the POFQ. Didn't care for CSR or Carribean Beach. But the POR and POFQ are nice. That is probably just personal preference as many like those moderates. At that age, though, I wouldn't stretch my budget. Go with what you are comfortable paying for ... that will make your trip a little less stressful.
