I have never been to wdw with both my kiddos. I never focused on the resorts from a kid view point.
I have stayed at SOG(many times),old CR,GF, CSR, old CBR, values, YC, BC and POR.
Monorail hotels seem to be a bit out of my price range. We plan on spending time at the hotel.
The pool area is very important and a nice play area where they can run around before bed time would be great too.
My kids are noisy but they do pass out at 7:00! We will have a car but I don't want to use it every day.
I am open to all suggestions! Thanks

Pop Century - it is a value - with any luck your kids will meet up with other kids - and they will play together until both groups drop.

it has a swimming pool.

that say the community pool here are different - they have steps on all 4 sides of the pool. I love that others hate

I say all star movies is our favorite. And it has the huge toy story figures outside if the hotel!

For young children, I really liked cbr with my boys. The pool has been renovated recently and has zero entry and 2 slides that are not too quick or too long. Also, it has a fully gated kids pirate water play area with multiple small slides and water features. It is height limit (48") enforced so no big rough kids. I appreciated letting my boys have some freedom and with it being gated, not needing to worry about them getting away from me. The play area was nice as well. If you want to go less expensive, I found all star movies to have a great pool and my boys loved the playground there.

For a deluxe, I think the WL would be a good choice. It's quite a bit cheaper than the monorail resorts and is a beautiful deluxe resort in close proximity to MK. The pool is great, the boat to MK is fun and convenient, Roaring Forks is great for quick CS meals, and there is a geyser that goes off every hour that the kids would probably enjoy seeing. Plus you can take the boat to the CR for shopping, dining, or just visiting and then hop on the monorail to visit the Poly and GF.

For a moderate, I agree with the pp about CBR. CBR is the only mod we've stayed at, but we loved the resort and had a great stay.

Good luck deciding, but I'm sure you'll have a great trip no matter which resort you choose.
