We are going to Orlando this summer for 7 days. We will stay on property at Disney for 2 days, but the other 5 will preferably be off-property. We are looking for a resort with enough to do on the resort property that we won't want to leave that much.

Any suggestions?

Wyndham Bonnet Creek has several pools, lazy rivers, mini golf, activities, video games, pool tables, ping-pong and more.

Thank you. Anything besides that? I am getting the impression that most questions here point back to that resort.

Marriott Harbour Lake is another suggestion. It is closer to Seaworld, however.

Reunion Resort has a small waterpark with kid activities. You can rent through the Resort or from a private owner on vrbo.

We have stayed at the Sheraton Vistana Resorts several times without going to the parks. Lots of activities for kids your ages. It's my DS and DH's favorite resort.

We have also stayed at several other timeshare resorts - Wyndham Bonnet Creek, Marriott Grande Vista, Marriott Harbour Lake, and Vistana Villages to name a few. Marriott Harbour Lake has a lot of activites - and we also enjoyed the activities at the Marriott Grande Vista. Check out those places also.

Coronado Springs Resort. It has an amazing counter service restaurant, you can rent surry bikes, the pool complex is amazing, and it has a great arcade. It has a salon, if you were in the mood for a bit of pampering. There is a night club for the parents to enjoy, and I have had some great drinks at that pool side bar, they seemed a bit more peppy than their counterparts at other places on the property.

They have queen sized beds.

I have not done the kayaking on the lake, but I have read that it is available.
For young teens, that covers a lot of activities. Add in taking the bus to downtown Disney and it is just about perfect.

My vote is for the Hyatt Regency Grand Cypress. It has an amazing pool complex made of several pools, complete with waterfalls and slides. It also has a large private lake with a sandy beach where gusest may use kayaks and sailboats for free. Also located on property and free to guests is a chip and putt, driving range, bikes, sand volleyball, rock climbing wall, and other activities that I can't even remember. We were there this past Easter with a 12 year old boy and girl, and they loved it. They actually wanted to stay there and not go to the parks! The property is very upscale and nice for adults, too. It's easily as nice or nicer than the Disney deluxes.:thumbsup2

Sheraton's Vistana Villages (not Vistana Resort) is also nice. It has a large 1 acre pool with waterfalls for the kids to enjoy.
