Our next trip will be over Easter '08, and we are arriving later than usual...around 5pm on March 15th. We were thinking of going to a different on site resort food court for a quick dinner and to relax a little before a busy week ahead. We are staying at POR, and were wondering what resorts offer a great food court that shouldn't be missed! :confused3

Which one is your favorite?

I really like the food court at Port Orleans and also All Star Movies........they have alot of good choices and I like that.

A good food court in my opinion can take care of all peoples desires and diets....hahaha.....and Movies food court does that....diets, vegetarians and others who can eat anything......enough food choices for healthy people too....

We loved the POR before they redid the CS...I am sure it is still great but we havent been there since the redo. CBR was very good too.

I think all the values are very similar...at least the breakfasts are.

Did not like Capt Cooks at the Poly at all.

I LOVE the food court at POP. And if you have kids with you they will probably really enjoy all the larger than life toys that can be found around the resort.

Now at the Food & Fun Center at the Contemporary is closed and the Chef Mickey's Express is not opening until August 2008 or later, I would say right now the best counter service location is Gasparilla's Grill & Games at the Grand Floridian.

Have you thought about the Pepper Market at Coronado Springs? Not only does it offer a large and varied menu to suit everyones tastes, but you can also sit and relax a bit after your long day of travel, because unlike other CS places, this one is a cut above and actually has a waitstaff on hand to refill your drinks and such. Its also a just a cool resort to check out too. Afterwards you could "walk off your dinner" with a nice stroll around the lake to the Pyramid Pool (and a dip in their oversized hot tub if you came prepared!).

I don't know that it is the best, but the counter service at the French Quarter is pretty darn good.
After traveling, you might not want to load up and go somewhere else. You can walk over, drive or take a boat. This way you can see more of the resort, too.
They make the food to order. I'd recommend the marinated, grilled chicken sandwich. The Philly was good, too. They will add mushrooms if you ask. DD9 proclaimed they had the best cheeseburgers anywhere! They were fresh and tasty.
Try the beinets for dessert. Good with coffee or a milkshake!

We enjoyed the food courts at POP and CSR. The Pepper Market offers a lot of options.

I have to go along with Pop or Pepper Market. Pop has an awesome food court and if you check out the menus you will see that at Pepper Market you can get steak for a cs!!

port orleans ,,get the ribs,,,its worth it there,,then take the boat ride to downtown disney,,,its great,,20 minit slow nice quiete ride to relax

I liked POR.....pasta station is real good.

I have read CSR is real good.
I also loved POP....sloppy joe's....yummy.

Generally the values and mod have the biggest food courts

I liked the food courts at All Star Movies and Music. I especially loved the grab and go section, where you could get a chicken wrap that used chicken fingers....omg that was heaven! I'm still trying to replicate the taste of that wrap, but I just think that everything tastes better in Disney. ;)
As for variety, I can't help you there. :)
