We already have ADR for Crystal Palace for lunch...I am thinking about the morning we check out to go eat at character breakfast before we hit the road. Characters do not really matter we love them all..I just want the food to be good!

We LOVE Chef Mickey's.:goodvibes It is a must do for every trip. The characters are great, and the food is too! We have also done the Crystal Palace which was good, but we still love Chef Mickey's the best!

For a resort breakfast, I would recommend the Best Friends Breakfast with Lilo & Stitch at the Poly. Great food, served family style, so no going back and forth to a buffet, which is great with kids. Characters were fun, food was delicious, as well as the juice. The Poly is a beautiful resort too, you really feel like you are in Hawaii.

Another nice thing, the price is a little more reasonable than some of the other character breakfasts, which is nice.

Good luck choosing!

We love chef mickeys. The food is good (typical buffet), there are plenty of characters and fun!!! The dessert is great. A great ending with mickey and friends

On our trip in January we went to the following character breakfasts:

Resorts: Chef Mickey's and 1900 Park Fare
Parks: Donald's Safari, Cinderella's Table, Princess Storybook in Norway

We found Chef Mickey's to have the worst food by far  ; a very small selection. We thought Park Fare had much, much better food and a way bigger selection. Our favorite was a tie between Norwary and Donald's Sarfari. That being said we will be going to all five again next year. I'll suffer CM since we'll be staying at the Contemporary and so DD5 can see the fab five. If the princesses at the castle are still doing supper next January we'll probably try that because the food at breakfast was . But we've got to eat at the castle every trip :rolleyes1

We have always really enjoyed the Cape May Character B-Fast. Good selection of food and the way the tables are laid out, you really feel like you are getting more personal attention from the characters. (Minnie, Donald, Goofy and Pluto I think) My kids also loved the paper on the table to color on, especially when Goofy got in on the action playing a game of Tic Tac Toe with my oldest.

I really liked Ohana's best. We also did one in Animal Kingdom and Chef Mickeys. They where all fun, but I really liked the food being served family style (much easier than a buffet with a young child):) and my son loved the parade around the restuarant. I will do it again next time.

We love Chef Mickey's brkfst - it's a must do for us. The buffet is very good with a nice selection, good character interaction with the Fab 5, and we enjoy the fun atmosphere with occasional monorail passing by overhead.

I'd vote for Cape May or Ohana Breakfast. Ohana has that great juice and food served family style. I thought Cape May felt larger and less crowded than Ohana.

We LOVE Cape May Cafe--good food and good character interaction. After that we would have to go with Chef Mickey's (breakfast is good, dinner not so good). We've not done Ohanas since they switched it to Family Style and Lilo and Stitch -- not a big fan of either.

For breakfast I would pick Ohana. Mickey was there. We think the food is much better there than Chef Mickey. However, if you want Minnie, Mickey, Donald, then Chef Mickey.

The kids love Chef Mickey's. It is a lot of fun but we have found the food choices and quality to be just ok.

In terms of food, we have found recently that 1900 Park Fare has been one of the better ones. Good choices and very good tasting food. We have found though that as the chef's change, so does the quality of the restaurant. Cape May use to be my favorite but we have been very disappointed with it the last two trips.

Thanks for all the suggestions!!! I booked ressies at Ohana for our last breakfast before we head out...I'm actually going suprise everyone with this, I hope I can keep quite abou it! I have always wanted to go over to Poly so the kills two birds w/ one stone!

We love Cape May also...that is our favorite resort character breakfast. The food is always hot and fresh, the service is just awesome, and the character interaction is outstanding. My DD6 is in love with Minnie Mouse and she always makes a point of it to let her know there because Minnie always gives her special attention because of it. Can't wait to go back next week :goodvibes

You won't be disappointed with Ohana! We used to do Chef Mickey's, but the last breakfast we had there, was just okay. We will still do a dinner, since the kids love it there.

i have never been to ohana, but it sounds great, i may have to try it. we have done 1900 park fare and that was really good. Chef mickeys characters were great, food ok. kids were so distracted they didn't eat much though
