Best Resort character breakfast?

Which character breakfast do you find the most fun and why?

Do they all offer the same item menus?

For the number of character at the breakfast it's Minnie and Friends at the Plaza Inn in Disneyland.
We were there Sunday 10-2-16 and these were the characters that greeted us. Hook, Chip and Dale, Max, Minnie, Tigger, Pooh, Rafaki, Perla and Suzy the mice from Cinderella and eeyore. FairyGodmother was roaming around too but didn't stop at our table.
My DGS and his fiancee went to PPH CB. They saw Mickey, Daisy, Stitch and one other.

Food is about the same for all of them. Goofy's seemed to have a larger selection of food when we last went there MANY years ago.

We prefer Storyteller's at the GCH. It seems less chaotic than Goofy's and the character interaction has always been above and beyond. We prefer the food there over Goofy's.

We love each of them. We've had very positive fun experiences at each one, I really don't think you can go wrong with a Disneyland character breakfast. Every time we've gone we have had amazing character interaction. And the food quality varies, but not by a ton (maybe Plaza is a little less quality compared to the others, but with twice as many characters to make up for it).

i don't know if I could pick just one! We seem to go to Goofy's more? I think because the buffet has the largest variety and our kid is super picky. But we truly do love them all.

We prefered Goofy's over storytellers. Storytellers was nice for the different characters but Goofy's had a better buffet selection. I will say we throughtly enjoyed ourselves at each place.

We like Plaza Inn. Lots of characters and yummy mini Mickey waffles with banana caramel sauce!

For number of characters it would be Plaza Inn. Food is fine there. Storyteller's is better food quality and the "woodland" characters, who are fun!

We will definetely schedule a Plaza Inn breakfast on one of our park days.

Currently debating between which resort character breakfast to choose. Will be staying at GC so maybe Storytellers... except, my girls don't care to much for the characters there

If your girls are into princesses, I highly recommend ariels grotto for breakfast. You meet Ariel and take a picture with her before breakfast seating and then during the breakfast, at least 4 princesses stop by and talk and take pictures with your family. The food is the best there in my opinion.

We also love plaza inn for the sheer amount of characters you get to meet. Food is meh.

For a resort breakfast if youre not into the woodland characters at at storytellers I would do the Surfs up breakfast. We really liked their food (we aren't ones or mass produced food that gets stale or soggy while sitting in the buffet line and I realized that I could only enjoy the food if I was the first ADR of the day because the food quality seems to go down as time marches on) and we had really good character interaction-much more interaction I felt than I got at Goofy's (maybe because its smaller). a few years ago we ate there and had mickey, daisy, Pluto and lilo and stitch. Surfs up is the only breakfast with Mickey.

I second this - AWESOME character interaction for us at Storyteller's. We really weren't super impressed with Goofy's. Plaza Inn was fun, but it was a bit crazy when we went and several characters never stopped at our table.

Storytellers and Plaza Inn have the same buffet selection whereas Goofy's has much more including Pizzas and desserts even in the morning The characters at Goofy's are the typical classic characters: Goofy, Chip/Dale, Pooh, Minnie. Plaza Inn has more of the same with others mixed in like Max and Hook. Storytellers has an outdoorsy theme so all the characters are woodland creatures like Meeko, Chip/Dale, Splash Mountain bear, Koa from brother Bear etc.

I prefer the character breakfast at Goofy's Kitchen. I will agree that the character breakfast at Storytellers is more quite, however I've noticed that a lot of the younger children are afraid of the woodland characters (especially the bears). I find it a little funny but I'm twisted that way.

We just did the Surf's Up character breakfast at PPH on 10/1 and we really enjoyed it! The food and character interaction were both great and I loved the kids dancing with Stitch The characters we saw were Mickey, Minnie, Daisy, Pluto and Stitch. I highly recommend it, if you're wanting a resort breakfast.

Are the princesses also there for lunch at Ariel's Grotto or just for breakfast?

We really loved Storytellers, but can't compare it to another one, sadly.

When you say resort I'm assuming you mean the ones at the Hotels? Which would mean:
DL Hotel: Goofy's Kitchen - IMO overpriced and little character interaction, only 4 characters and their time at the table has been short in our experience.
Paradise Pier: Surf's Up - Awesome, we always do this on our departure day (as to not waste precious park time!), there are only 4/5 characters, BUT they get up and dance with teh kids every 20-30 minutes so it is a lot of fun and a lot of interaction. I think it is the cheapest one too.
Grand Californian: Is the Storytellers one with the much less-known forest characters. We've never done it as both ourselves and our kids aren't that familiar with the characters.

The park options are:
DL: Plaza Inn w/ Minnie & Friends - as others have said this one has by far the MOST characters and it is great. We don't have Magic Mornings with our AP's (And we do not stay in DL hotels) so we plan on this for a Tuesday or Thursday first thing, during Magic Morning. We are usually done right around regular park opening.

DCA: Ariel's Grotto - we've never done this one for breakfast as we enjoy the others more & we usually hit this one for a late lunch or dinner since we like to break up both the day by having a reservation on a busy day (i.e. weekend day) and by not having all our character meals be breakfast.
