Best rates--rental car

I see a lot of people recommending Dollar using the KISS2 code. Are you all using any other codes with it? We are going March 9-15 and found that Alamo is $30 cheaper than Dollar with the code. I've reserved a full size for $170 fees included. Is there anything better out there? Thanks! Melanie

Melanie, Have you checked out Mousesavers.com they have the Walmart Id 430710 and links to Alamo Coupons?? I just got a $25. off coupon on this site good for rentals picked up before June 30th. Joan

That rate is with the Walmart discount and a $25 coupon from Mousesavers. That was the best rate I could come up with for a car that would fit all of us.

I think the KISS2 code is blacked out for some dates...I couldn't get it to work for our March dates, but I've read about people getting great rates! Alamo was the cheapest for us as well, first we had a Budget reservation, then Thrifty. When it was 5 weeks out from our trip I saw a post here that Alamo had some cheap rates and we booked an intermediate for 8 days for $146. Since then it's went up...I'm guessing you're at the best rate you're gonna get. Enjoy your trip--wish we were leaving tomorrow!
