What was your best rate that you ever got for a room at Disney? We are just trying to do a little comparison shopping based on everyone's past Disney experiences. Please list your rate (and type of), the room type, the resort and season. DH and I got a rate of $94 a night (w/o tax) with a room only resort code for a standard view room at CBR in peak season (we were upgraded for nothing upon arrival to a preferred view, corner room). How about you???

We paid $172w/tax for a room only woods view at WL last week. Upon arrival we were upgraded at no additional cost to a one bedroom suite at WLV. My DS (5yo) was upset because he was looking forward to the bunk-beds I had requested. He just didn't understand until he got to stay in his "own" room on the fold out couch bed and use the jacuzzi tub.:earsboy:

I think we got this rate or somewhat near it twice- once with the Hero's promo and once with the AP.

I got WL Concierge last week for $179.00 per night. That is going to be hard to beat for me again. I had to back my way into that rate. I got a woods view room with AP rate for $139.00 per night. When I checked into the WL I asked how much for a Concierge upgrade? They came back and said $40.00 per night extra. I couldn't pass that up.

I may sound like a dummy...but what is the Conscierge upgrade, aka what perks do you get.

I am so glad that I found these boards. I have learned so much from you guys already. We did not get AP for this time, because DH says he does not want to go every year. But after our trip in Dec. I am going to try to convince him, so that we can have as much fun as you guys.

Cailin'sMom,
No question is stupid - especially on these boards. I believe (and see I am not that certain also) that concierge includes continental breakfast, snacks and drinks during the entire day and night, turn down service with chocolate and I'm sure other things that I am certain of - I'm sure someone will help us out:)
As far as the APs go, an adult AP costs the same as a 7 day UPH but you don't get the perks of the water parks but you do get some good discounts on rooms (if you are lucky), rental cars and food. It's work out pretty good for us - DH and I just renewed ours and saved about $85.00 b/w the both of us.
