DH and I are traveling without kids and we're debating where to stay. One thing that we both ageee on is we want someplace with a good quiet pool since we won't need a pool slide or pool games without the kids. Which quiet pool is your favorite and why?

Boardwalk has 3 total pools ( 2 quiet)
BC and YC combined have 4 (3 quiet)
While not necessarily quiet the Poly Oasis pool, has a bar and food which is never a bad thing.

We've enjoyed the quiet pools at every resort we've stayed at. We love the Oasis pool at the Poly and the BC pool (closest to Epcot).

But keep in mind, quiet pools aren't necessarily quiet. We usually refer to resort pools as either the main pool or the other pools.

If you're looking at Mod's, POR has a very nice QP near the mansions. It's very pretty. There are other's scattered through the property as well.

When we stay at SSR we enjoyed the smaller pools they had there. I would not say they were quiet all the time but not as crazy as the main pool with the slide and games going on. Also the smaller pools at CBR were good. Those in the morning and later in the evening were really quiet all the times we went and a few times it was just us there relaxing by ourselves.

I like the YC quiet pool, it has a hot tub where the moderate quiet pools don't, you have to use the main pool. Not sure about the other deluxe quiet pools as YC is my go to. As another poster pointed out, quiet pools are not always quiet though so be warned. I was at YC 2 weeks ago and enjoying the quiet pool. Just as I was getting ready to leave (thank goodness) a couple of kids decided to jump in, which might not have been a problem but they were at that age where pools means jumping and splashing. The biggest problem was a group of adult couples, 3 couples somewhere in their mid-20s I'd guess decided to take over the pool. They brought their huge cooler, their boom box (seriously I didn't know they still sold those) blaring rap. The girls grabbed life vests to use as rafts (they sat on them) and the guys did gainers into the pool then commenced a rowdy game of pool football, thus running the kids out of the pool. Had I not been packing up to go back to my room at the time all this started I certainly would have been soon after. I'm not against anyone having fun and have been known to play pool games a time or two in my life but not at a deluxe resort quiet pool. The quiet pools are completely unsupervised so there was no one to even tell them they couldn't use the life vests as rafts. Oh well.

With the Oasis Bar/Grill and pool chair service, it is REALLY hard to beat the new Poly Oasis Pool. It will be more crowded than some of the other more traditional "quiet" pools, but not materially so. Or the GF courtyard pool, which also as a bar. Those would be my votes.

POR has 5 quiet pools throughout the property, these generally are not crowded. I do like the Poly Oasis Pool, but it is a lot busier than some other resort quiet pools (because it is awesome!).

The Poly Oasis pool with the bar and food options is awesome. The pool is zero entry with little fountains that make just enough of a rippling sound to relax you.
