Hi there! :goodvibes Just found out I can get free dining but is only the quick service.. Any suggestions on the best places to eat for that dining?

Thanks much:thumbsup2

Some QS restaurants we like are

Magic Kingdom - Columbia Harbour House, Pecos Bills, and Cosmic Rays

Epcot - Sunshine Seasons

Animal Kingdom - Pizzafari and Flametree BBQ

Hollywood Studios - We don't really like any QS here but do eat at Starring Rolls Cafe

DTD - Cookes of Dublin, Earl of Sandwich, and Wolfgang Puck Express

Enjoy your vacation.

I will add that Fairfax Faire at Hollywood is kind of the same food as Cosmic Rays... but I agree... we will be eating at the resort before or after DHS...

A lesser known location is Main Street Bakery in MK. There you can get one of their sandwiches (turkey or ham - they're very large!) and one of their tasty treats for a QS meal.

Also if you're out and about for lunch POFQ has po'boys that are really good - in their food court area - lunch only!

Thank you:) More suggestions are always welcome..Will be staying for 7 nights 8 days! Very excited and looking forward to everything. Just hoping the quick service in the parks is a little better than the resorts quick service. (Some of it is pretty plain and simple)

you can also leave the park for lunch or supper and go to DTD at wolfgang pucks its really good. also you can eat at epcot the french bakery,or kringlas its got great food too. love the qsd as you eat when y ou want which is nice. enjoy the snacks are great too you get 2 instead of 1 on the other dining plan.:cheer2:

Ditto what others have said. Also, Capt. Cook's at the Poly has some yummy choices inc. a Dole Whip soft serve, which you fill yourself, for dessert with QSDP. We especially like the Aloha Pork sandwich.

Great suggestions. We ate at Pecos Bills, Cosmic Rays, Sunshine Seasons, Flametree BBQ, and Wolfgang Express and enjoyed them all. We were a bit disappointed in Starring Rolls, which has limited options and doesn't begin serving sandwiches until 11:30.

Have a great time.

We have two boys 8 and 10 and they enjoy Pinocchios Village Haus in MK, Flametree in AK, I can't remember the name of the place but it is next to Jedi Training in DHS and then the American pavillion at Epcot. We also enjoy some of the food courts for the cariety at different resorts.

MK- Columbia Harbour House

EPCOT - All the places in the worldd showcase...ie...
The Chinese and Japanese were especially good. The Japanese place had really good sushi

HWS- Pizza Planet is fun

AK FlameTree

DTD --- Wolf Gang Puck, Earl of Sandwich

Min and Bill's Dockside at HS is a little known eatery with a delicious Italian Sausage hoagie!

Almost all the CS places in World Showcase are really good. We like Tangeriene, Yakitori House, and Kringla Bakery.

If you use the dining menus at allearsnet.com, they tell you which places are quick service on the list of restaurants so it's a little easier to see what and where you may want to eat.

Is Min and Bill's Dockside on the dining plan? I don't remember seeing that one.

To OP: we also got the QS dining plan for free. We are there 8 days/7 nights and I'm looking forward to trying some new places.

Some of our favorites are:
Cosmic Rays at MK (loved the turkey wrap and it is huge)
the food court at CBR (we can get a turkey dinner for a counter service credit)
Tuluca Turkey Legs and Catalina Eddie's at HS (the girls get pizza and the boys go for the turkey legs),

In 2009 it was because we used the QSDP and I got a milk shake with our meal (don't remember if the shake was a drink or dessert, bu it was good!). I think allearsnet lists Min & Bills as a snack place, but the have pretzel dogs along with the hoagie. Seems like we got chips with them too.

Last summer I got a delish salmon dinner at Sunshine Seasons in Epcot. This is our favorite QS place. My DH got a half chicken dinner it was also good. This is a good choice for dinner instead of lunch.

The take-out place next to Yak 'n' Yeti has quite a few options you can get with snack credits...egg rolls, fried rice, etc. The last time we ate there, for four of us we used 2 CS credits and 2 snack credits and got quite a bit of food.

Epcot Sunshine seasons top of my list, DHS back lot express or ABC cominsary is good. Have fun.

My next trip at BWV Nov 5 to Nov 12.

Thank you all so much! I can't wait to try all these places!

I appreciate all the help!!! :worship:
