We are thinking of doing the QS this year instead of TS...to save $$$ and because the 2 yr old is not too fond of sitting through a meal each night. Any way can you give me your Favs by park?

Animal Kingdom- Flame Tree BBQ or Pizzafari

Magic Kingdom- Casey's Corner or Cosmic Rays

Hollywood Studios- The ABC Comissary, Starring Rolls, Pizza Planet, or Backlot Express

Epcot- Tried the Electric Umbrella this last trip, not impressed

Have fun and enjoy!

MK- Cosmic Rays alot of choices, fixin bar and the rib and chicken combo is a great deal.
Peco bills, fixin bar, and a real good chicken wrap.
AK- Mainly go to Pizzafari for kids, last yr. I did get a shrimp poor boy sammy from Restarauntasourus and it was pretty good. Also the Yeti one we have got a few things that were ok.

Epcot- Sunshine Season is really good and a lot of choices. American ( I have a son who is not to adventerous), Cantina was good.

DHS- Again Toys Story for the kids, but I will occasionaly get Backlot for myself, pretty decent stuff.

Downtown Disney- which has my favorite QS Wolfgang Puck Express, the most tasty QS in my opinion. The Earl of Sandwich is awesome as well.

Resorts, we sometimes go to POP for a QS, my DH and DD love the tiedye cheesecake.

My family's favorites are:
Magic Kingdom - Cosmic Rays (ribs are really good).
Epcot - Sunshine Seasons (lots of options - the cookies and strawberry shortcake are really good).
Epcot - Kringla (you can get a sandwich, soup/salad, drink, and a pastry for a QS credit, so it's a pretty good deal)
Epcot - Pattiserie (The elcairs are really yummy!)
Animal Kingdom - Flame Tree
DHS - ABC Commissary (my family liked it, but it was kind of take it or leave it with me. I'd go back, but not make a point of it.)

Magic Kingdom: Cosmic Ray's Starlight Cafe.

Epcot: Sunshine Seasons & Electric Umbrella.

Hollywood Studios: ABC Commissary & Backlot Express.

Animal Kingdom: Flame Tree BBQ & Pizzafari.

AK - Restaurantasaurus - usually served pretty quickly. Heard great things about Flame Tree, but never tried it because there is no indoor seating. HOT and BIRDS!!

Epcot - Tangierine Cafe for the adults and Sunshine Seasons for the kids.

HS - Pizza Planet - I could say it is just for the kids, but that is not true. The pizza is decent, and on the DDP, you also get a salad and a dessert for one QS credit. And they have beer. Nuff said. :rolleyes1

MK - Pecos Bill's Tall-Tale Cafe. They have burgers, veggie burgers, chicken, salad, tacos, and a GREAT fixins' bar. Love this place!

MK Pecos Bill's andColumbia Harbor House

Epcot - a lot of choices. Sometimes we get from several places and meet for ameal. Sunshine Seasons, La Catina, Tagierine Cafe, Sommerfest (brats)

DHS - Backlot Express and Studio Catering

DAK - Flame Tree and Pizzafari

Thanks everyone for your replies. Do you miss TS if you do QS? Thinking we might do 1 or 2 meals OOP

MK definitely Columbia Harbour....sit up stairs. It's totally quiet up there and a good place a bit of downtime.

MK - Columbia Harbor House
HS - Pizza Planet
AK - Yak and Yeti
EP - Yorkshire Fish and Chips

switched our dining plans a few years ago because the kids wanted to be in the parks more. For a six day visit we would do three or four TS and the rest CS and those TS would be character meals for the most part. We have slowly been adding more TS meals the last couple of trips as the kids haven't grown.

While I like to have a couple of calm meals, I can't say the CS meals were disappointing. There is a lot of variety in the food if you look through the menus. The quality at some places can be quite good - just not DHS for some reason.

MK-Cosmic Rays
EP- Sunshine Seasons and Cantina de San Angel
DHS- Pizza Planet and ABC Commissay (lots of indoor seating here)
AK- Flame Tree BBQ
DTD- Earl of Sandwich

I really enjoyed Starring Rolls @ HS!

Have fun!

Magic Kingdom: Columbia Harbour House, Cosmic Ray's, Pecos Bill
Epcot: Sunshine Seasons, and I've found the QS in China and Morocco good (not great, but good enough)
DHS: Fairfax Fare (and the surrounding QS buildings), or Writer's Stop for snacky items
AK: Flame Tree BBQ or bust.

MK: Pecos Bills, Cosmic Ray's
EP: Sunshine Seasons, Tangerine Cafe
HS: Starring Rolls, Pizza Planet
AK: Flame Tree BBQ
DTD: Wolfgang Puck Express
