Trying to plan for our next trip in Feb.. Hubby is a true carnivore and am really wanting him to enjoy some fantastic meals at WDW. I only can think of the Yachtsman Steakhouse, Shulas, and LeCelliers as far as great places to eat beef. Any other suggestions?

Shula's is great. We went last year and even took DD who was 4 at the time. We loved it. DH and I each go the filet and it was wonderful. DH is going to be disappointed that we are not going there this trip, but we are doing the dining plan and I don't think Shulas is on it. But we are going to try Jiko's this time and I hear that their filet is really good too. I have always gotten a great filet at CA Grill as well.

The best filets we ever had were from Jiko and Yachtsman. The best NY strip DH ever had was at Flying Fish

The Yachtsman's and Le Cellier are very good. We were pleasantly surprised by the lunch menu steak item at The Brown Derby in DHS as well last trip. The ambiance and service is outstanding. The bread fresh and endless and slabs of real butter! Take a look at the specific menus on allearsnet.com. I'm positive your mouth will water;)

IMO, Shulas is hands down the best steak at WDW, but pricey! (Also the molten lava choc.cake at Shula's is fantastic and will easily feed 3-4 peaople) YSH would be my second choice. We tried Jiko filet this past Sept. and were not really impressed with the filet or macaroni & cheese that was served with it.

Tried Shula's last week for the first time and it was great. YSH also has great steaks. Virtually all of the signature restaurants have one good steak on the menu (I especially like the filet at Jiko). Sadly, the buffalo strip steak (which was fabulous) has been removed from the Artist Point menu.

For steak, Yachtsman is the best choice. Kona Cafe had a good terryaki steak, too. I actually enjoyed that most from everything I had.

California Grill. We just got back and California Grill was the best steak we had all week. If the plate had been edible I would have eaten that as well. YUM! We also had Le Cellier, it was good but still could not touch the steak we had at CG. :goodvibes

Boma! I know it wasn't a choice but my DH liked it more than Cali!

He said it was the most tender he's ever eaten and they gave him a ridiculous portion! It was Fred Flinstone size.

I didn't even think about Boma or CG. My mouth is watering right now...yum!

So many steaks and not enough days at WDW.

Have never tried Shula's, but adored the Yachtsman Steakhouse

I had very good Prime Rib at Chef Mickey's back in April of this year.

Whatever else you're doing, I'd throw Boma into the mix, simply because it's so different from the others, and also, because the prime rib there is excellent and infinite.

Also, every single trip we take that involves my father or brother must include a pilgrimage to California Grill for the filet. They don't really care where else we go, as long as there's a CG filet in it for them.

Prime rib at Kona Cafe (also teriyaki steak at Kona.) Le Cellier, excellent. The Wave at the Contemporary, excellent steaks also.

We thought the Cali Grille was highly overated (and over-priced)...had a better beef at all of the above listed restaurants, at much lower cost.
