best prices for a DS

What is a good deal? I know nothing about these. My son has saved up & is looking to buy one. Should I do a bundle?

I just picked up a DSi for my daughter this Christmas. I watched them for months on the sales flyers and websites. No huge discounts can be found. I just bought the DSi itself with no accesories. So far so good. I might buy a case later this Spring. That makes a good Easter gift! I priced the bundles and when on sale they give you a little break on the wallet. It really depends on what you could use in that bundle that would make you want to spend the money on it? The games aren't cheap either!

I found a Mario DSI bundle on Amazon before Christmas...with free shipping and several Mario games already loaded on it. This was the best deal I could find and I think it was $157.00. Both my boys have LOVED this DSI.

My son got a DS a year ago. Best investment ever! Games are not the cheapest, especially if it's a new game, but he's pretty content to get a $14.00 game at Wal-Mart. We only buy new DS games after report cards for good grades or holidays or special events. I have seen some tips saying to bring the DS to Disney that way they can play it waiting in line. With my luck, he'd leave it somewhere or drop it. No thank you. That cost too much. That will stay in the resort & he can play it when we get back, if he doesn't pass out from exhaustion first lol.

I waited for my Meijer to offer a 20% offer coupon and then bought mine. I didn't do a bundle b/c they were never the games we wanted. How old is he? I don't think he needs a DSi unless he is older than 8.

If you have a GameStop near you this is the best place to buy game systems. I bought my ds9 a used ds for christmas for only $79. For an extra $10 a got a one year warranty (they replace it right in the store if anything goes wrong with it). I also got him a nerf case which is great if your son is like mine and is a little rough with things. Good Luck with whatever you decide
