Best Price/Place to Buy a Maclaren????

I've decided to break down and buy a Maclaren for our trip in Sept. I tested them out at Babies R Us. The top one was 199.99. Where should I get one? Any advice?

I ordered one online from babyage.com - BabiesRUs didn't have the MacLaren XT model that I wanted. I wound up getting the 2005 model at a fantastic price, not sure they are still available though...

I used to have a big Century stroller that we got as part of a carseat/stroller combo in 2000. Nice ride, lots of nice features including a big storage bin at the bottom; however, too wide to fit through many store aisles, so I wound up also buying a Graco cheapie stroller ($40 at the time, I saw one similar today for about $80.) Not as easy to push, but much lighter and smaller, still a nice-sized storage compartment.

Got the MacLaren because the big stroller broke a wheel; because it's discontinued, it's dead. The MacLaren is very nice, I'm able to steer with one hand (which the others couldn't do), but I miss the cupholders and the storage at the bottom is very shallow. But all in all a great, well-made stroller!

I think I have way too many strollers! But I do like my maclaren quest which I got real cheap at albeebaby.com (I want to say it was around $120 with free shipping)....in their sale section...not sure if they still have the offer but keep looking and hopefully the sale will come back!

the specialty baby store gives excellent customer service. by the way, I discovered there ebay sales were actually more (this was last year) by the time you added shipping, so just buy directly and be done with it.

So a google search on Maclaren. I search for a 2004 or 2005 model. You'll save gobs of money and just have a slightly different fabric!

Count me in as another happy Allbeebaby customer! We got the 2005 Mac Techno XT for $164.99 with free shipping from Allbee and Babies R Us wanted 299.99 for the same one! We love it and wish we had done it sooner!

I got my Maclaren Quest off of ebay for $99. I got it last year, and the one I bought was a brand new 2004 model. It was perfect! If you'd like the name of the person I dealt with, let me know. They sell Maclarens all of the time. Good luck!

I got my 2005 Quest Mod in Rose/Pink from Babies R Us.com. It was $179 with free shipping. It looks like they don't have the print in stock anymore.

You could always check on ebay, also. There are LOTS of people selling BRAND NEW Maclarens all the time!

If I didn't have mine already, I might be tempted to buy this one (cause it's pink!!!):
