Oh I most definitely will. There's another DISer who's going the week before us on the same deal, so hopefully they will update on their experience before we leave for our trip.

OH NO....The way.com ones are gone.

I had to wait until payday (today) and now I don't see them.

I guess I have to go with Orbitz and just pray for the best.

Well, best case you get to use your free day, worse case you have to upgrade. At least they will be good for the original amount of days. I am hoping you have no problems. Since you made the purchase today, ask for a supervisor. You might be able to get a refund since they have two different dates on their websites. Refunds are applied to your card within just a few days, it did for me when I cancelled my hotel reservations. Also when I called to complain about the dates on the website after one hour of being on the phone and talking to a supervisor she issued me a $75 credit to be used for my next purchase of anything on cheaptickets.com. I had them apply to my current hotel reservations and I saw the credit on my credit card within just a few days. If they do the same for you, then in a few days you can purchase the regular park hopper tickets going through ebates and using your $75 credit. Good luck! Let us know what happens.

I'm also back and forth on buying tickets because we are not completely set on where we will be staying. We are booked offsite but are hoping for some sort of discount onsite (I know it's not a high likelihood). But if they do offer a deal of some sort that includes purchase of tickets, I don't want to be already hemmed in with a prior ticket purchase.

The only reason why I used way.com was because I used them before and just felt better plus I didn't have to wait a few months for my $100 check from Ebates. I bet you will get your refund by Wed or Thurs. I am sure way.com will still have them. Send them an email and ask if you want.

I just looked for 5 day park hoppers on way.com and they have them. I clicked on Activities. Then I typed Disneyland. There is 4 pages of tickets you can choose from.

Thank you! I see them now. I had been looking under "tickets".

Now to decide if I want to take a chance on not needing to buy tickets through Disney for any sort of room deal in December. Decisions, decisions.

Glad I saw this thread. Thanks for the way . com suggestion. DW and I are going in October. We want to buy the So Cal City Pass. This site by far has the best deal on those.

My grandma has been following my woes with this whole process and I've been filling her in. She told me to just to go ahead and book the tickets under her card and pay her back once the orbitz refund goes through.

In the end I'm glad it worked out the way it did. Now with the way tickets we don't have to exchange a voucher at the ticket window. Plus I think you're right that $34 cheaper NOW feels better than waiting 90 days or so for ebates cash back.

Oh and I meant to say that with ebates the orbitz tickets would have been $688 ($764-$76). The way.com tickets were $730. While I really did want a cheaper price, I now know that the fretting is not worth the risk on that orbitz deal.

I am glad that your family was able to help you out. I am also glad I was able to help you out. This is funny because I already purchased my tickets with way.com and I was wishing I had the guts to have purchased through Orbitz because if all of you guys are getting the free day I wanted it too. We really only need the 3 day park hopper but I thought if I was going to get a free day then we could go for a couple of hours either the day we arrive or the day we were going to leave. I should have because I wasn't going to be out anything since I know for sure that the tickets would have been good for at least 3 days if not 4 (if I was lucky). Oh well, I feel safe with way.com.

I bought the tickets on Saturday, on Monday I received an email that I had to get back with them with the name and address of one person that was going to use the tickets and also the dates that I was planning on using the tickets. By Wednesday I hadn't heard back from them so I sent them an email asking what was going on. They sent me an email right back and said I would receive my tickets Friday. Well I just printed them up, so they were right about that. The adult tickets have Sulley on them and the child ticket has Mike on them. Plus they do say you take them right to the turnstile. Awesome! Now all I have to do is wait until the first week of December to go. Hope you have a great time on your trip!!

I got the email from way right away so I sent the info they requested. Then they wanted a copy of my grandmother's drivers license (which she sent me pretty quickly). I sent it over and they sent me the tickets not long after that.
