I need to get 1 day tickets. We are going to the Magic Kingdom for a day after our cruise this month. I am trying to figure out how to get the best price for our 1 day tickets. Any suggestions?

I don't suppose there's a MVMCP (Christmas Party) that day, is there? That would be your least expensive and most fun option. Otherwise, if you know you'll be back next year, I'd buy non-expiring tickets with as many days on them as you can afford.

No MVMCP. That would have been nice, but we did it last year. And I don't think my hubby wants to be out late since we have a long drive the next day. Since we did DW last year and the cruise this year. I am almost positive we won't be back for at least 2 more years. Maybe.

I had to go searching for a 1 day park ticket for my DS and DDil as they will only be able to do one day at WDW before returning home. I checked out all the ticket brokers web sites and what I found out was there are no 1 day discounted ticket :sad2: And also the ticket brokers must sell so few 1day tickets that they don't keep many instock so tag on a special fee that actually makes the ticket more(even w/tax)expensive than just buying from the WDW web site and having them mailed to your home. A word of advice, don't wait until the last moment to order though, it took about a week for Disney to process and mail my tickets. Hope this helps.

A one-day ticket for the MK is $71.36. For $85 plus tax (unless you buy from AAA - then no tax) you can get unlimited admission to Universal Studios and Islands of Adventure for up to 7 consecutive days. I know it isn't WDW - but they are sure giving WDW a run for the money. I'll be going to Universal for my 2 days in the Orlando area next March.

The AAA website quite clearly states that their prices include tax.

Convention goers get the option of buying after 2 (or is it after 3pm) tickets. If you know someone who is going to the Swan for a convention soon, then you might be able to get one of those. Yes, they are strict about you having to wait until the required time to enter.

Otherwise, I agree with the poster who said it is in your best interest to buy longer no exp. tickets. Even if you won't go for two years - so long as you won't forget where you put them. The ticket prices will only go UP in two years' time, and if you have park tickets prepaid that will be a plus. Paying that much ofr a single day is crazy, IMHO - esp. if you want to park hop!

You're right. What I meant was...AAA's price is $85. If you buy from Universal online, it will be $90.53. You save what amounts to the cost of the sales tax if you're a AAA member and buy from them.

my boyfriend and I are also doing exactly the same thing (cruise then one day at disney) and from what i've been told on the boards you can get them at AAA, the park or ticketmania.com!

Enjoy your cruise and disney visit! i cant wait any longer for mine haha!
