Ok guys, I know I could do some intense searching and might find the answer but thought this might be better to just post the question to you because you know so much from experience. :thumbsup2

We will be staying at the Fort May 22-30. :woohoo: There will be 10 of us on the campsite. (or course 3 of us will be ages 3, 1, & 3 months - so that is not really a full person :rotfl:) We are in a class C motor-home but we will be putting up at least 1 tent. 10 is too many for our little 31ft (no extensions) RV. :scared1:

Questions:
1) Are we allowed to put up more than 1 tent? I thought I read somewhere that you could put up at least 2??

2) Which site(s) would be the best to request in the preferred pet loop (300)?

Thanks so much!! :goodvibes

Instead of requesting a specific site.....why not just request what you want anyway......A site that fits your 31ft RV and has room for one/two tents also?:thumbsup2

I can do that but I wasn't sure if I could actually put up 2 tents. That is what we really need. Room for the RV and 2 tents. :)

Thanks!!!

The rule (as I understand it) is that you can have one sleeping tent on the site with the RV, and can also have either an awning, awning room or dining tent pitched alongside the RV (as though it were an awning room). Rules are rather inconsistently enforced however, which means you might get away with putting up more or you might get called on it.

If you really want a big spot, you might want to consider a full hookup loop. They might seem like they are really far out, but they aren't. The sites are bigger and more private. They are also all pet loops. The loops are 1600 to 1900. The 1600 are a little smaller.pluto:pluto:

333, 334 & 335 are all very long sites - particularly relative to most on 300.

We've stayed in 333 before and were in 334 in November. We had our hybrid TT (30' open) plus a 9x12 pen area setup for the pups, our SUV and a golf cart and still had room for a couple of chairs and the picnic table.

Thanks so much for the information. I think we should be good. I will fax my "request" before we leave and hope for the best. My daughter and I are getting so very excited. We can't wait. :dance3:

I'm guessing that you will be putt'n the 3,1 and 3 month old in the tent ?

Well of course. I need my beauty rest. :thumbsup2 Bad enough when the DH gets me up at the crack of dawn to go fishing, don't need no crying babies to do the same. :lmao:
