Best places to park an ecv for long periods?

Family member will be bringing a scooter, but not planning on using all day (more as a backup if they get tired of walking). Is there a good spot to park a scooter for a longer period of time, specifically in epcot and HS?

We usually park wherever stroller parking is allowed and have had no issues. If we are in an area with no stroller parking nearby (Epcot can be bad for this in WS), we look for a spot that does not block any walkways, doors, gates, or cast entrances/exits.

I would agree with @fla4fun in finding a stroller parking location. I would be hesitant to park it in any other location as there is a good chance it may be moved if left for an extended period of time. Just like strollers left in non-stroller parking, those could be moved too. Personally I would not risk leaving it anywhere other than a stroller parking location. When we've used ECVs for my parents, we parked them in a stroller parking location when leaving them unattended.

Sometimes you can find wheelchair parking. We often ask CM where we can park our ECVs and a lot of times there are places to park that are not with stroller parking. Personally, I’d park it one land/country and then explore and then when ready to move on, move the scooter with so that there isn’t any back-tracking to retrieve the scooter whe. The user decides they need it.

As an aside, if your family member isn’t planning on using the scooter much is it worth the hassle of dealing with it on transportation/in the hotel room? Might you consider renting an ECV (or even a wheelchair if usage really is limited) instead?
